Latest news from Jermaine

Post by ilprincipe on Thu Sep 10, 2009 5:04 am

Jermaine is currently in Germany...
and as we know from JCC "Germany is the key"...
*just kidding*

Jermaine arrived Berlin yesterday evening. When he arrived one reporter
asked him "How much money do you make with MJs death?"
He didn't answer this of course....He looked confused and continued
writing autographs...
source: http://www.tikonline.de/top-stories/detail.php?nr=59093&rubric=Top-Stories
-only in German, sorry-

About 2.5 hrs ago there was a press conference in Berlin.
Jermaine couldn't announce any new performers for the tribute.
Mary J. Blige wants to "make it possible" to perform, Jermaine claimed.
He called her on the phone ..

here the source: http://kurier.at/kult/1937404.php
kurier is an austrian newspaper...the report is german again.
Below Jermaine's pic they wrote: Worry lines at Jermaine Jackson. No stars
again at the tribute.

For the german members here:
Jermaine is giving an interview at Johannes B. Kerner on ZDF
at 23:15 Uhr (11:15 pm CET).
I think I'll have a look...other guests: Miriam Pielhau, Jürgen v.d. Lippe and Andreas Korn-Müller.

I want to add, that Jermaine showed a video on the press-conference....
it was Katherine Jackson. She confirmed, that she supports the tribute...and she
will show up in Vienna this day.

Meanwhile there are many angry politicians in vienna...the city of vienna
shall pay 600 000 € for the tribute.
Not everybody agrees.

Next week -no time and date announced yet-
there' ll be another press conference in Vienna
and MAYBE Jermaine can pronounce some new acts..nobody knows...

Good question - SMH at signing autographs.

I wonder why performers would hesitate to participate in this, unless they feel something is wrong with the whole set up. If this was truly a tribute to MJ why does Jermaine feel the need to charge so much money for tickets to the event?

There was a video made by someone who really expressed how angry the fans are with the Jacksons (she was a non hoax believer) because they feel that without the fans the Jacksons would be nothing, and just before MJ's "death" Marlon was stocking shelves in a supermarket. now they are riding around in Rolls Royces and buying 12 crypts with Michaels money.

It is true - If MJ really is gone, it is a pretty crappy thing to do - keeping the fans from the funeral viewing would that really have been so bad? Or providing fans a way to pay their respects to Michael over the coming years. If not for the fans there would be nothing and that is what I always loved so much about Michael, he really truly did love his fans.

I dont know what Jermaine is up to, but I think he and the whole Jackson clan are really leaving a bad taste in the mouths of alot of people.

what's up with the shifty eyes, Katherine? lol!

and what's up with the editing? I mean, the video stops and starts 2 or 3 times.....
if she made mistakes or had something to add, then why not just re-shoot it into one statement?

Re: Latest news from Jermaine

UPDATE:
Jermaine visited BILD ZEITUNG....
and told this:

Translated summary:
"I do it (=tribute) for the fans"
"It was overwhelming how many millions ppl in L.A. mourned MJ."
Now he wants to offer a forum for european fans -that's the reason why Vienna is the place
for the tribute.
And: MJ loved Schönbrunn Castle...MJ had been there twice with his kids and they were shown around the castle.

if he was doing this for the fans, he'd make the tickets more affordable. $800 is ridiculous. I paid less for a front row ticket to see the real thing live in london!

Re: Latest news from Jermaine

My family and I have only heard of one or two of the artists who are supposed to be performing at the tribute. What about the great world famous performer? I have seen tributes for lesser known artists with a better performance turn out than this and we are talking the KING OF POP here.
Also I remember reading a quote from one of the Jacksons that Michael does not belong to them but to his fans. I DONT THINK SO!! Many of the Jacksons have dollar signs in front of their eyes and they seem so fake. I bet even if Michael is alive (we all know eh?) they will be getting their hands on all the money they can. I hope if I ever win the lottery my family never behave like that-shouldn't think so as we are all watching the Jacksons with utter disgust. Have never forgotten what LaToya said when Michael was accused and going to court - she was dispicable and afterwards when he was cleared she said her Husband made her give the statement.

Jermaine is seriously making me angry. Hoax or no hoax he is making this tribute look like a joke. No one wants to be a part of it and people backing away left and right.

Looks like Katherine was forced to make that statement and apparently no one that put it on the web site caught the fact that she said September 29.

Well, as for ticket cost...Jermaines tribute page does say this is a "once in a lifetime event". Now I don't know about all of you..but a comeback after your death...you just don't get more "once in a lifetime" than that. Think about...IF this happens...when will we all witness an event like that again in our lifetime??NEVER!!! I'd pay more than $800 to be a witness to that! Now I am not trying to sway anyones mind one way or another..we are all intitled to believe what we want but I believe Vienna...THIS IS IT!! Instead of just Londoners seeing MJs "final show performance" it's going to be the entire world..live and on television. I have to say that I was totally on board the Jackson Family hater bus until I realized...they ALL seem to be participating!! I don't believe they are a messed up family that can't get their stories straight...these people know exactly what they are doing...just like MJ wanted. See ya very soon MJ

Also...i'd like to add that there IS a great reason the performers are always backing down...to me the performer has already been booked. No need for others. ((hint hint))

$800 is a bit much. i do agree that it there's a big possibility it really will be a once in a lifetime event. but i also understand why people are hesitant about buying tickets when they don't know who's gonna be there, and some will only HOPE that michael will be there. it's just so expensive...my husband and i would need to fork out $1600, cuz neither one of us would go alone. that's just a lot of money when you think about the possibility of it being a flop.

@neverlandprincess-IMHO, Janet would know for sure about a hoax and do anything in her power to protect her big brother. I believe her doing the interview and VMA tribute is to throw off hoax believers. Janet has always been one of the more credible ones of the family. People tend to listen when she talks. My opinion, she's just playing her part in the hoax.

Hi!!! All i can say to this is two words "sources" "TMZ"

I hope no one takes offense or thinks I sound insensitive because that is not my intention. I am 100% behind the fact that this is not a Michale Jackson project, but I am 100% behind the believe this is a Jackson Family project. I do not and have not believed 1 item of "source" relayed info as the truth but more as carefully orchestrated hints. see ya soon MJ

also..now Mrs J is on the tribute site proclaiming her support. All these twists and turns are entertaining

Looks like Katherine was forced to make that statement and apparently no one that put it on the web site caught the fact that she said September 29.

I doubt that no one cuaught that supposed slip-up Katherine made. As you can clearly see, the video is cut a couple of times (=edited), so why would they have left this error in???

I think it was Dick Gregory who said that MJ told him, he had no intentions of doing these 50 shows. Not for a second. Not that he was planning on bailing out on them, but more like MJ had something else in mind....like something else was planned instead of the concerts.

hmmm......

Michael didnt want to do the 50 shows. He only wanted to do 10. He was kinda pressured into the 50 ones, and everyone, knows that Michael doesent like to tour, specially because of the diffrent time zones, and other things.

I cant help but feel that this Thome guy has something to do with all of this. He had complete control of michaels life. And how was mike suppose to get his life back on track??? He had to "die" cause it was not enough to just get away.

I have a strange feeling, that we havent seen nothing yet

noone knows for sure. some say he wanted to break Prince's record and would have been on stage only ten minutes each show anyway, others say he only wanted to do ten shows. who knows what the truth is. but I don't take the "he only wanted to do 10 shows" thing for granted. NOONE of us knows what he wanted to do.

and it was no TOUR ... Di Leo said that the only thing MJ was mad at was the short time between some dates. But if you see the plan there was enough time to recover. There are artists who are over 60 years old that do more than a hundret high energy rock shows without doubles which last more than 2 hours a year. so it is definitely not impossible. if Mj was well trained it would have been no problem for him to do these shows. If he indeed was sick then I agree that it would have been impossible. but in the pop circus 50 shows a year are not even close to be called "many"

by the way: jermaine will be on german television (ZDF) just about in a few minutes

Okey I chose to ignore that sentence with "NOONE of us knows what happent"
I know it was not a tour like that.
I did not post things here to be attacked, and please dont talk to me like im stupid, cause im not. Michael is more to me than you will ever know, and I love him more than words can say.
Im not gonna post anymore in here. I think im gonna keep my mouth shut

?
I'm sorry that you feel attacked. But fact is that noone of us knows what Mj really wanted to do. You can believe guy A (10 shows) or guy B (50 shows) ... doesn't mean that we KNOW who is right.

I'm not here to attack anybody. But I thought that this forum is here to find proof for the hoax. To believe in what someone WANTS to believe in will lead nowhere unless it is proven.

So If you KNOW anything and can prove it great but "believing by heart" does not make anything real. Don't get me wrong, I respect your emotions (and the emotions of a million other fans who feel exactly as special about Michael as you do) but it has nothing to do with research for the hoax proof

So I am sceptical to everything that has been announced in BOTH ways. I doubt the media of course but I also search all the hoax theories for mistakes cause I do not want to believe in anything false.

by the way: Jermaine is talking really sweet about Michael on television right now

According to the Austrian article the city is pissed at Jermaine, and everything is still up in the air, because no real stars are participating. The only member of the Jackson family that got railroaded into participating is MOM. Some fans payed up to 500 euros, and are pissed. The city of Vienna payed 600,000 euros. Taxpayers are pissed. This might not happen at all.

Re: Latest news from Jermaine

Post by justafan on Thu Sep 10, 2009 4:25 pm

hope I get it together

I guess the most important things he said was that he was asked by the UCLA stuff to announce MJs death but later on he said something like "Noone ever listened to Michael so I spoke for him when I announced it and I spoke for him on larry King Live"

They talked about the "Save the world awards" which he accepted for Michael and he said that America should be proud of Michael, that Michael always wanted to save the world and spoke about serious problems in the world long before Al Gore did. Also he stated that Mj built Neverland for ill children and that media did him wrong and always was in search of some scandal while MJ did so many good things. (He then spoke aboout the kid who admitted that molestation accusation was planned by the parents)

a few times some tears were rolling down Jermains face.

he stated that he is hoping to get Michael over to Neverland at some time.

The end of the interview of course was about the tribute but I unfortunately did not pay attention to it anymore while my phone rang. I'm sure it will be on the net tomorrow. If I see a link I'll post it.

It should appear here:

http://www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/liveStreaming?inPopup=true

Just type in "jermaine" in the search field and I guess tomorrow you will be able to see the video.

The name of the show is called "Johannes B. Kerner"

Hahahaha good one! Smile

Perhaps they can ask Andre Rieu. He's a Dutch musician, who became famous playing Strauss and such music. He's also performed at the Tribute-location in Austria plus he's a fan of MJ. He and his orchestra gave a performance of the tracks "Ben" and "Earth Song" here in Maastricht just the other week. lol!

Check it out:

I thought the woman singer kinda failed at singing Earth Song, but then again....how can anyone do MJ-songs like MJ himself. Wink
