New outlook on 02 speech.

Post by Harleyblonde on Sun Sep 20, 2009 2:35 pm

Hi All, This thoughts have just sprung to my mind.Bear with me as is hard to explain.Michael had been in the public eye for many years, given many speeches, many performances and will not have suffered stage fright or nerves, after 45 years it was second nature to him. Just imagine if he had been planning a hoax death for a long time and it was all coming together and he knew that the time was right .He had to convince the whole world that he was planning on doing these concerts and everything depended on his performance that day and subsequent events but this was the start of it. If this hoax was discovered and brought into the open can you imagine the backlash, the tabloids etc? Doesn’t bear thinking about as he was “wacko Jacko” to them, he would be a laughing stock. My point is it would have been a very nervous MJ at that announcement, if it was indeed a hoax it was the most important thing he had done so could it be that he was so very nervous and het up that he behaved completely out of context/character and unusual mannerisms. Could it not explain his swagger, his sudden movements and his deeper voice. Many have pointed out that the 02 MJ was the real thing (scars etc) could it be explained that it was a very nervous excited MJ, I think knowing you are about the set the motion to the biggest hoax of the century would give someone massive amounts of adrenaline to the point of behaving completely out of character. This would also explain his choice of words “final curtain call” and “this is it” I think he chose these words very carefully to make his fans not too upset at his loss as he was telling us he was “retiring” in all intents and purpurses.
This would explain a lot but is only my opinion and every stone needs to be upturned so to speak, would love your feedback even if you think is BS!

Just a thought but could he have got a quick shave after he peeped out from the curtain? It is the scars that people have pointed out that have really got me rethinking, I thought before it wasn't MJ now I think it may be............

Harleyblonde, you've got some good points in here!

Anyway, IMO he was acting very well, as he did before...he was the one who was spreading rumors about being ill, having a terminal disease, the wheelchair,...and finally, acting strange at the O2 Arena!

Why?

The main purpose was to make people think he was ill, that he couldn't do the concerts and that he couldn't do the spectacular shows as he did before!

Why to create such an illusion?

At the time of the concerts (TII Movie), people would be amazed about his good condition, and moreover, about the spectacular show! The surprise is much bigger this way, cuz people woudn't expact that!

He could have as well strong emotions about the comeback after so many years, but he has a great mind, and he knows how to work it!
And I don't believe he has a double to look so similar to him in everything(face, scars, hands, skinny body(but sexy anyway ), nails, fingers...). IMO that wigg is making many people to be confused and I believe he had chosen it in purpose...you all can see the results of it...

Well, this is just my opinion!

Keep the theorys coming! One might be true at the end!

Hi DreamsComeTrue, Thanks for that and I enjoyed reading and appreciate you sharing your opinion which I do take note of and respect. Thing is the only real evidence of MJ being in bad health apart from seeing him in a wheelchair (which could have been leg/foot injury) was what the tabloids and crap rubbishy sites told us so did he really want us to think he was in a poor state of heath or was that the media? Would be interesting to find out. there is a lot we dont know and is getting more and more intriguing by the day. Take care.

I said in my theory that I always thought there was more behind the O2 speech than we were lead to believe.

Putting aside the question of is it the real Michael or not, the behaviour was strange and so were the choice of words.

I do believe that it would have been a very nerve racking time for Michael, and as you so rightly pointed out, the whole hoax could have depended on it!

Good job Smile

I completely agree with you...independently of the fact that maybe was/wasn't the real Michael Jackson. Great Job!

Thanks Rach, I just imagined how he would feel and for a fleeting moment and my heart started racing and I was shaking just thinking about it-I felt like I do just before I went into the dentist chair. As a lot of us has sort of proved to ourselves (we dont try to prove to otheres-they are entitled to think it was or wasn't) it was in fact MJ so we need to think why he sould behave in this manner and is quite feasable. Actually it looked to me like he was in a nervous but very cheeky mood and he probably enjoyed it as he looked a picture-even if he looked the wrong picture he he!!!

You're welcome!

Just to point out I DON'T think it was Michael at the O2 but I think everyone knows where I stand on this and use of doubles so I don't want to get into that again.

Ok, I respect your opinion and I am not 100% sure if it was or wasn't MJ but I am looking at the possibilities IF maybe it was indeed him. I truly believed it wasn't him until the thread with the scar photo's and that swayed me. Now I honestly don't know and I would love definite concrete proof one way or the other but somehow I don't think that will happen. Thanks all for reading.

You all make very good points. I do agree 100% that there is a lot to think about regarding this press conference...I know there are pictures out there which make us go mmmm, is that MJ?, but this is the first time ever that I question a live appearance! I think some people have had doubts about the MJ at Motown 30th, but I think the majority of us would agree that it was definitely him. As for the O2 guy, we can (and will) argue forever! That fact alone says it all IMO. Something big was then bubbling...that's were it all started (if only we had known then it would be THIS big...!)

Re: New outlook on 02 speech.

Based on your theory, nervousness would definitely have come into play. Technically the hoax would become the biggest "career" move that he ever made. Even a 45 year veteran who was about to embark on such a mega move had to feel more than a few jitters since so much would be at stake. It is a move that is strictly do or die. To succeed would prove that he is a mastermind. Any slips or leaks would confirm to the haters that he is indeed what they labeled him as all along. He could not afford ANY errors. His life, rep and legacy would all be weighing in the balance.

That is the critical reasons I why have a hard time believing that so many people are part of the hoax. There is an old American shampoo commercial that pops into my head. The commercial wanted to highlight how the product worked so well that people would happily share it with others and rave about the shampoo's magic on hair. The tagline was "If you tell two friends, then they will tell two friends, then they will tell two friends... then so on and so on." If Michael told as many people as we're led to believe then the only one's left in the dark would be you and I. If MJ had invited others within the inner circle and revealed his plans to sooo many , there was a good shot that they would share the news with others...many others either intentionally or by accident. There are always people who want to give the impression that they are in-th-know, insiders and have some special privileges and know things that outsiders do not. We see that on some hoax sites daily...lol.

I agree with you.

The nervousness about the hoax was an option explored in my theory when I addressed the O2 conference.

Hi GIrlSaturday, I see what you are getting at, does this mean that you are not believing in the hoax so much now? I do and I dont know how they worked round it all but I do not think there were many people in on it and usually you know if you can trust family members and close friends especially if there is huge amouunts of money involved. I am trying to figure out about the autopsy, ambulance, hospital staff etc. I think though as I said if it is all a hoax it would only involve people he could trust 100%. Is it all feasable?

Thankyou annieisnotokey, am glad I am not the only one to realise how nervous (not a big enough word for how he would have felt eh?) and I am sorry, I didn't realize you had written about the same idea.

Sometimes it is as if a new topic triggers an MJ song inside of my head. In this case the song "Butterflies" is playing.
A person gets butterflies in his/her stomach when that person is nervous. We have been discussing the possiblity that O2 Michael was nervous.

Quite the contrary. I am still a believer. I just have a hard time wrapping my brain around Michael telling practically EVERYONE about his plans. This man never revealed when he was going to change his hair or hire new clothing designers. Why would he suddenly be chatting away to everyone about something as important as his death hoax.

Money can silence people. Money can also generate greed and envy. Every recipient will wonder if he or she is getting their perceived fair share. If "X" is receiving an amount that is less than the next person, then "X" might be inclined to confront MJ and demand more...or else.

I believe that there are friends and family that he told but not as many as we're led to believe. In the end, some were let out because despite their love for him...he had to cover himself and keep them on the outside.

If I suddenly won the lottery, there are a select few that I would tell....elderly relatives with alzheimers disease. Most of my friends and family would NEVER know. Money impacts people... even good people... in very bad ways.
