She makes me SICK! Do you remember when there was a family (I think they were on Montel), and their child was missing. She told them that their child was dead. Can you imagine the grief those parents went through? Well, the child was later found and was not dead. I don't remember all of the details, but I have no respect for her whatsoever. hahahaha I don't remember that one but I do remember seeing an episode where this woman in the audience asked sylvia if her husband was okay (on the other side of course) and sylvia said yes he was and that she knew he drowned or something, and the lady was like 'no... he didnt drown. he was one of the firemen in the twin towers on 9/11 and he died there' so to save herself sylvia said 'oh..maybe he drowned from the water hoses that the other firemen were using to put out some of the flames' and Montel went and tried to back her up hahahaha it was the funniest shit to witness EVER!

@ Rachel - I REMEMBER THAT ONE TOO! hahah she has messed up so many times on that show.

The helpless look on that mothers face is indescribable. She played on their emotions while they were going through a very difficult time. Here is the video if anyone wants to watch it. A warning, though, it's sad at the end. Good news is Shawn was not dead, but found alive years later and is doing great now (for anyone who is not familiar with his case).
