I have been thinking about this for a few sleepless nights.
What can I do? That’s correct, what can I do for the man who gave me his heart
and soul in his music? The one who has tried to give us all a message, but have
we really been listening? So, I am going to do something about that, and I
would like to invite all of you to join me. On Oct. 25 (2+5), at noon, central
standard time, I am going to release at least 6 red balloons with messages of
L.O.V.E attached, or maybe a chorus from one of my favorite MJ songs. He wanted to heal the world, well it starts
with all of us. I belong to several different message boards and have read the
bickering, therefore I am making this invitation universal. It doesn’t matter
if you believe in the hoax, if you believe he has truly passed, what matters is
that we all love Michael Jackson. If you think this is worthy, copy and paste
it to other boards, blogs, social pages, e-mails, spread the word. It’s one the
way I feel I can truly honor him. Please join me! All it takes is just one
balloon with one message, that might find its way to someone who needs to know
they are loved!

Love the idea, but if I can remember correctly....this was an idea of that Leachim person!

What a great idea! I am will be willing and active participant. Thank you for coming up with such an awesome suggestion. By the way! Most ppl are non-believers in my area and they want no part of the discussion of MJ. They won't do it. The only believers I know are on this forum. I will do it though. Keep the Faith!

I opened a topic on this, entitled "A MESSAGE IN THE SKY" under the thread of "JUST TO CHAT OF WHATEVER" last month. I suggested in my post that Black and White Balloons will be released for the message of racism, equality, and peace which is the message of Michael's Black and White Song.

So I do hope the time and date will really be decided,settled and synchronized. Thanks for your post.

To answer a couple of questions, yes See, Leachim did suggest this to happen on Oct. 1, which did. However, I thought we could do it on a larger scale before This Is It comes out.
The other question was about how to attach messages to the balloons: take an index card, punch a hole near one corner, and tie it with the string that is already attached to the balloon.

I thought Leachim's idea was clever, but why not do it again? Red balloons for love! or for the curtain that was behind MJ at the O2 announcement, however you want to look at it.
