I think it's interesting....
Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Jermaine, all says Michael would approve and be proud of this movie..but Randy don't think like them Randy tweets Suspect

he didn't attend because, also he know how it ends... Randy tweets Suspect

I can't support a film my brother wouldn't approve of, so I didn't attend the screening. Also, because I know how it ends...about 2 hours ago from web

Yea, I just don't think he would have wanted his rehearsal footage seen by anyone other than himself and the people that worked on it with him. He was a perfectionist and he obviously wasn't giving his all...not even close. I still thought he was fabulous, but I'm not so sure he would have thought so.

I really don't know what to think or say in regards to MJ's family. Their motives and reasons for their comments are really doubtful and there's always something fishy with what they're doing. IMO

Why do you say "wouldn´t approve"? He´s not gone:)
He approves it. In my opinion it was his intention. He wouldn´t let videotape it ´coze he knows everytime when there are cameras around him the tapes will leak out.
During the film I knew that that film was ment to be, not concerts. This was made attentionally.
He looked rigt in to the camera and was talking with us.
The end was also ment as a clue... actually not clue but staight answer to our question we have had for last 4 months. It was wery clear for me.
That´s my opinion.
I remeber something KO talking about surprise in that movie - I believe that the end was that surprise. If not, then it was pretty cruel end, if not, then KO plays cruel game with us. If you know what I mean. Something like the end of memorial - "I´m alive and I´m here".

It´s just my opinion.

Actually, that's a big part of why I'm not totally convinced he is alive. Because, imo, I don't think he would have approved of the movie for one mili-second.

I'm not sure about not approving it. After all, he did spend some time behind the camera..and IMO that was when the doubles were on stage if there were any.

I'm not sure where Sony fits in exactly. BUT I trust Michael's business savvy and he knows what he's doing. Besides if I owned part or partial (whatever stock he has in it) I'd let them market my product too..more money for me...

In all my life I have never ever seen the end of a performance of any kind when the person is deceased and there is no reference to it at all! It was weird to me - I was afraid to see it because I was already crying when they displayed:

THE KING OF POP

But then no In memory of - or 1958 - 2009 - it was very strange to me.

After the movie on the way home I said to my husband (he starts to believe what I believe:D): "you´ll see, there will be more movies". My 7 years old daugter became a fan of MJ and I alredy made a promise to her to take her with me when the next movie will come out;)

I was thinking about that.. and I came up with 2 things..
1. They didn't write it, implying that his music lives on
2. They knew they were going to make another movie, and at the end of the 2nd, they'll put it in.

i would go for the 2nd option over the 1st. they should know that everyone knows his music will live forever...but i don't think that would keep them from adding a "RIP." to me it just seems like they could have said, "love lives forever" then, "1958-2009" or something like that. but they just left the door open for speculation.

Well I can say 3 things about this IMO :

1. We're moving in too fast and starting to get warm and they felt the need for a cool down.
2. Sony wanting to make an extra few bucks knowing they will get way more viewers, wich means more money for them, if there is still speculation of Michael being alive. So it would be a very cheap and low marketing strategy.
3. We need to keep in mind that DiLeo is now a chair man at sony's, I read a thread on that in here earlier today.

And just a final thought, TII was way better image of Michael than the DVD live in japan that they are selling. Has anyone here seen the Live in japan concert on dvd? I bought it and watched a whole 10-15 minutes of it and turned it off and I dont know if I will ever pop it in the dvd player again. The sound is lousy and the image is distorted so everyone INCLUDING MICHAEL are short and fat! It is all distorted, that is a DVD I highly doubt Michael would approve of.

You didn't like the Bad tour in Japan dvd???
I loved it. The whole thing from start to finish is live - every bit of it. It was simply amazing to watch. It's definitely the best tour available as far as performance goes.
Yes the sound/video isn't great quality, but I had no problem watching it!
I downloaded it, I dont know if that makes a difference..

Ok I have this memory of Randy saying that the movie was "riveting" before it actualy opened-did that not happen ?Was it not him that said that? I know MJ was a pefectionist and wether or not he is alive may not have wanted us to see it-especially with all the scenes where his hair is not fixed and knowing all the rehearsal was not done WITH those new videos. He would want it finished before we saw it-but knowing we want to see him and this is pretty much what we have for now I think he would be happy that we love it so much.

Yes, Michael may have been (well, IS) a perfectionist. But really, if he was really planning on turning all this footage into a movie all along, too much perfection would have resulted in many minds turning suspiciously. As they say, imperfection is perfection. Wink

I read that they recorded the footage of the rehearsals for team/crew to look back on and look for things to fix up, and to ultimately store away in Michael's private collection. I don't know, something like that. If they want to make out what they're saying is true, obviously it'd have to have some flaws in the scenes. It's acting.

kirsche im sure randy was not an original member of the jackson 5 i think he joined when they left mowtown jermaine stayed and i think thats when randy joined and they had to change the name to the jacksons my point being i thought it was about the original jackson 5 reuniting so someone is missing who could that be of course its michael
