To be honest I dont think they would risk a fake one cause there was helicopters everywhereee!

@ HeavyHearts, that's why Randy was "furious" or whatever with the helicopter coverage of the burial! He knew what the heli was recording completely contradicted what the Jackson family was showing to everyone via "live feed"

Yes, many of us did discuss this after the funeral and some thought it was different views and many thought it was all a "staged" funeral. In my opinion it is a tree with legs-definately!!!

I dont understand why they wouldnt do it inside. They knew helicopters would be flying over even though they didnt want any. It's michael jackson!! of course they want exclusive footage lol

What really surprised me is why the media/tabloid didn't pick up on this or notice it- an excellent story and feature that I am sure would sell many issues. There is definately something wrong here and remember MJ was a perfectionist and would not have made such mistakes but he will be well away from everything and would have had no part of the actual action after his "death". He had to leave organisation of memorial/funeral etc to his family-or should I say incompetent family, as we well know he is the only perfectionist. Bet he is really squirming now at all the cock-ups they have made.

There's a gray trashbin in the first, but it's missing in the second.

I heard they were going to use the funeral footage in the new Jackson reality show. That's apparently why they had that balloon light there. So if that's true I guess it makes sense they'd use sets or a backdrop....or am I missing something?

My thoughts on the funeral is, it was all staged for their future money making schemes. In the first place, no grieving. Secondly, they got shots only according to their script. Everything is fake just like the memorial. In the memorial, IMO everybody was waiting for their turn to say something that was scripted,too.

Guys, thank you for this topic and thank you for making me feel right about my thoughts. The lightings in the funeral don't look like lightings for the funeral but lightings for filming. So they say they dressed up Michael, and when families say goodbye, I believe there will be so much grieving and I never saw any one get close to the coffin to say goodbye and the sadness of parting would be seen that they couldn't let go of him. But none of this I saw. They have dictated to the press/media things that happened but do we know that they really happened like Katherine wanting to walk out because she couldn't take it. Of course, they have to mention Katherine to get the sympathy of all mothers and they mentioned also Paris, to add more drama to their script.

I believe that every thing was too placed like props and fixtures for a scene. It looked more like a reunion for the guests. Sorry for blabbing but I just wanted to get this out of my chest.

As I have mentioned before MJs was a huge family, where were they all? where were all the Aunts, Uncles, cousins etc. There were just immediate family and celebrities. Is the sort of guest list for a film or function that is not a private family burial like we were told by the Jacksons.

I've seen this mentioned before I agree -- very strange. As for the light, I remember Anderson Copper/CNN commenting that it was a production lamp that was strung up for the funeral so that they would have light since darkness was gong to fall during the burial ceremony.
