Is anyone else getting a really surreal feeling about all of this?

Post by looking4truth on Mon Oct 26, 2009 7:04 pm

I'm not sure how else to explain but the closer we are to the movie release date, the more real this hoax seems, which is giving me a really strange feeling. I'm not sure what to expect with this movie. I don't expect him to pop out or anything but I don't know, I just feel like when I walk out of that theater, I'm going to be looking at things a little differently to put it mildly. Anyone else feels this way? I think Elizabeth Taylor's tweet-a-thon is making me feel that way, along with all the other stuff that is just coming together, for me atleast.

Lol. I know sis. She's tweeting away. Hehe. I think it's so cool though.
I'm going to be seeing the film in about 26 hours and I know my mind is going to be racing with thoughts when I walk out of that theater.

I agree. I really wonder what things we will discover after everyone sees the movie.. I wonder what craziness will happen, or what information will come out.

I told myself that I would not get on here until after I watch it, which will be this Friday because I really don't want anyone to spoil it for me. I want to watch it with a clean slate, without anyone's interpretation of the movie. We'll see how well that goes. lol

It's already going to be confusing enough trying to find clues and contemplate what you actually think about what.

LOL! No, don't give Sony that much money. It's bad enough we are giving him the little we've had. The only way I would be happy about it is if MJ was owning Sony. Wouldn't that be something?

Girl, I don't either. I bought two tickets because I didn't wanna go by myself. THat's enough from me. lol And sorta off topic but I just wrote a whole other thread about the possibility of MJ owning Sony and hoping someone can help me with that theory. If you can, please feel free to add on. And the bootlegs are going to be crazy for that movie. lol

I am a bit nervous, excited a little emotional. (so I guess I am feeling a bit surreal) lol I'm a big softy so I am sure I will be the one leaving the theater with the reddest and most swelled up eyes! lol I will see it tomorrow @ 9pm but I don't even think I want to go anymore! Lol

I am not going with high expectations or thinking I will solve the hoax but I am hopeful...and it would be nice to have some peace of mind after four months! However, if nothing happens, I will still be here until the end, sharing and theorizing, about what happened, June 25th 2009, to the King of Pop. lol Don't worry I won't spoil the movie for any of you! I promise

@Banessa-yeah the tension. I hate to say this but I am so afraid that the movie is gonna be like "our memorial" you know-the one we didnt have. I so hate feeling that way too-there is a thing on youtube "applause for MJ" telling everyone to applause at the end of the movie...like that even needed to be suggested...I was gonna clap anyways.

I understand what you guys are talking about. I might have a hard time searching for clues since my eyes are going to be overflowing with tears probably. Even though I have hope and faith that he is alive, not knowing for sure gets to me. He is a dear loved one to me.

And I have forwarded that message to people. Hehe. I know right?
I plan on clapping the loudest. So what if I look like a major dork with tears and everything. MJ deserves all of it.
Lets give him a standing ovation. Smile

The talk about this being the "memorial" we never had and the whole applaud at the end of the movie has made me even more anxious about the whole thing. The applaud, I know it will feel as a definite culmination for his performance "This is it" and that makes me uneasy. Not because it means he is "gone" or that I even believe that to be true but because of the uncertainty of what is to come...

I was sure I had butterflies but I think they just turned into flying elephants! Seriously, I won't be looking for clues either, I will be too busy wiping of the tears. I agree clap the hardest and loudest MJ deserves it!

"like that even needed to be suggested...I was gonna clap anyways." Love this quote! lol

Yes...you get it. It's the uncertainty that is killing me. Along with people telling me I am crazy. <3
Lol...flying elephants. Aww...
You are in my prayers love. God bless all of you. Smile

Re: Is anyone else getting a really surreal feeling about all of this?

Post by Gm on Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:17 pm

I know how you feel guys. I booked my ticket a month ago but have decided to wait to watch it in private when it comes out on DVD because I know I'm just going break down into pieces. I must be crazy. But I really can't go through with watching it in a public theatre, I won't be able to hold it together ! It's such a hard decision because, on the other hand, I'm so praying for this wonderful outcome and/or desperate to see all the clues and messages it will hold.
Unless something incredible happens, it just won't be comfortable to watch not knowing he is safe . I'd rather see the movie alone.. in the dark

Awww...your post brought tears to my eyes. I know exactly how you feel love. pale

I will be seeing it in less than 24 hours now and I'm just thinking about how much I know I'm going to cry...a river probably.
I'd rather be in the dark too in a way. Just by myself. I'm sure I won't be the only one crying but still. I am just now thinking about how awkward I might look to some people. And I just checked the site to see if there were still tickets left for my showtime and no...there are not. Which means the theatre is going to be packed. Oh well...love is all that matters right?? I have to get there extremely early. And I have to bring tissues...or towels.

If you're crazy then I'm crazy. So we'll just have to be crazy together love. <3

Aww, thank you LizzieBee . That really means a lot. I'm so sorry to make you more sad! Hugs and god bless to you.
Love is definitely all that matters, however hard things get and how much they hurt. If we all stick together and support each other and the one we love, then hopefully we will find some light at the end of this tunnel I really hope..
The very best wishes for tomorrow, you are in my thoughts <3

Aww! Thanks you are so sweet! and you are definitely not the only one getting called crazy so don't worry! welcome to the club! lol You're right it's that darn uncertainty that is getting to us. lol Don't worry you won't be the only one crying so, you by far, will be the only one looking awkward! Definitely we are all in this together so we are all crazy together! Good point! Wink

I hear how you feel and I can honestly say those are my feelings as well. I don't think I can bare myself to watch Michael on the big screen looking healthy and vibrant as always and not feel a void in my heart and stomach. Unfortunately, for me, I promised my 10 years old niece I would take her with me and there is no way she will forgive me if I didn't live up to my promise!

So I will have to try and hold the emotions as much as I can and once I'm home...it's on!

It's not so much, like I said, crying because this is proof that he is gone! By far... I need more than a movie to prove to me he is forever "gone". It's just all the emotions bottled up inside since the 25th that are wanting to resurface. Besides I am not made of Iron, I do have feelings and I am a very emotional person. lol I can imagine crying if I ever see him in person just because it's him and he is there...now crying after all we have been though is more justifiable, at least it's what I tell myself so I don't come across as being too weak! lol

I know I will cry in the movie theatre and I won't care if others are watching.

I always cry, I'm very emotional. I even cried when I went to see Bolt (yes, the children's story about a doggie). lol!

Somebody told me one day that only the people who aren't afraid of feeling pain and crying are the ones who are blessed enough to feel joy and happiness in their maximum expression. flower

Yes, you're right. Some people think that crying means that you believe he is gone. Not necessarily. Even though I believe in my heart that he is still with us, it still hurts. We all have emotions and we do our best to hide them but I don't think I'll be able to tomorrow. Like I have always told my friend, when the day comes that they announce Michael's death was a hoax, I will literally drop to my knees sobbing. I am dead serious. They will be tears of joy of course. That will be one of the happiest days of my life.
Thank you Banessa. <3

And Gm, you're welcome and thank you. You've brightened my day. sunny We really must stick together. We are all connected through Michael and together we are strong and nothing can stop us. We are his beautiful army of LOVE. <3

God bless both of you. Smile Take care and we'll talk soon. <3

Awww! Annie, You already got me started...This is very nice. Good to know there are many of us who are emotional and know for sure we will cry at the movie! If only we were all at the same theater and at the same time! So we can all cry together... Lol

@Lizziebee
Thank You!!! I will be there right along crying with you when the news about Michael's "death" being a hoax hit my ears Lol. Can't wait for that day...and yes they will definitely be tears of joy Smile

I have a feeling that if this is indeed a hoax a lot of clues will be present in the movie, although it is quite hard if not impossible to focus on the clues when you just want to focus on Michael's magical preformance... Exclamation

I feel really strange too. Cant explain it.

I cannot get out of my head that somewhere during the movie or even just at the end...he is gonna pop up on the screen and say something like "HA!!! I tricked you!! You ALLLLL believed I was dead cus the media told you I was!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!"...or something like that.

A VERY odd feeling Im having today
