Stripper scene in TII?
Okay so I got this scan from the TII trailer. Did any of you see this scene in the movie? I didn't. I think it's from the Dirty Diana scene that was supposed to take place the day MJ "died." There was supposedly supposed to be a stripper and there has been talk about a bed/illusion or something. But I don't like spitting words out unless I know something for sure. So if you have a link to a credible article or something about the Dirty Diana song or this quick clip of the stripper in the trailer then PLEASE let me know. My curious mind wonders. And it is not one of the aerialists. She is wearing a different outfit. And it looks like she's on a bed...like one with a canopy.

Thank you. That's where I got the picture. I was just wondering if any of you saw it in the movie. I just found this interview with Kenny Ortega talking about the Dirty Diana thing.
Q: "Were any musical numbers left out because the footage wasn’t there?"
KO: "Yeah, mm hmm, yeah. The day that Michael died, we were waiting for him to come in to block him into Dirty Diana, which was at the end of Dirty Diana, he stepped into an illusion and before your eyes went up in smoke and then suddenly appeared completely on the other side of the stage rising up on the cherry picker and out over to the audience for Beat It. He was really looking forward to it. The night before, he had said to me he was very happy. He saw the dream coming to life on the stage. The only thing he wanted me to say to anybody creatively, dancers, creative team was, ‘I love them. Everybody’s doing a great job. I love you, Kenny. I’ll see you tomorrow. Thank you.’ He left and we were invigorated. We came back that next day and we were all up on the stage really excited working with our illusion makers, working with our technicians. We had our aerialist, Danielle, on the stage and Tony Testa, one of our associate choreographers was standing in for Michael. It was just like we were getting everything ready for him to walk in and step into what was going to be one of his favorite days because he loved illusion. When we discovered that, in fact everything stopped."

Another set piece is said to have featured Jackson and a dancer "romping" on a four-poster bed during Dirty Diana. At the end of the song, Jacko is tied to the bed-posts as his temptress is preparing to straddle him. Next 'flames' made of crimson fabric engulf the bed -- when they clear, it is the woman who is bound up and Jackson has materialised centre stage.

Wow!! Thank you! That explains the four-poster bed the woman is standing on. That would have been the hottest song. I just opened the link and read all of it. He was going to perform Dangerous too. One of my faves. <3 Thanks again for the link. I knew the info had to be somewhere. People were posting things about it but if you know me, you know I have to have a long drawn out and detailed article.

I know. I guess they were rehearsing everything. And MJ was supposed to come in later that day and run through the Dirty Diana song in which this would happen,

But Michael's "death" was that day so I guess they never got to it.
Re: Stripper scene in TII?
Hmmm...but my question now is, why would they put that clip in the trailer if it is NOT in the movie???? Do you think it means something? I mean maybe I'm over analyzing this but this is the way it was supposed to be??
MJ tied up
MJ vanishes
Other person who wanted MJ is tied up
MJ appears on stage
Mean anything?????

You're welcome. I wonder if it was maybe a little too sexy for the movie and it would have needed more than a PG rating.

Hmm...that's a good point. There was talk of them putting it in the dvd.
If the movie was PG-13 there would be less kids going....which means less money for Sony.

It's okay friend.
It's just that MJ was supposed to be tied to a bed and then disappear and the girl was tied to the bed. MJ would appear on the stage.

Re: Stripper scene in TII?
Oooooo crap! Kenny used the "d" word. Until now he has conveniently avoided it. NOT good.

Re: Stripper scene in TII?
Q: Did you ever want to add something reflecting on the emotional background?
KO: You know, the only reason why I didn’t do it was because I didn’t want anyone to ever say that we fabricated anything. We didn’t. There is absolutely nothing in this film that wasn’t created from the time Michael Jackson announced that he was doing the concerts until the day that Michael died. We didn’t want to touch it. It was like I called it sacred final documentation and if we went back in to shoot the band or anything, then we left ourselves open to people going, ‘That really wasn’t how it happened. They tried to color it differently.’ However, in the DVD series, there is a tremendous, I would say, three to four hours of information that’s not in the film that comes again from that source, but also now post source. So that we did go back and now talked in hindsight about the experience of working with Michael and we completed some ideas that Michael had blessed and signed off on that we didn’t have quite finished by the time Michael had died. So you’re going to see an even sort of completer picture and come to understand more detail about all the elements of what we had planned for the show.
this is the ONLY thing i can find right now,but,in it he talks about 3 to 4 hours of INFORMATION i dont have any idea what he's talking about here,but,i will keep looking i could have sworn SOMEWHERE it was stated at one point in dirty diana there is a scene where michael is handcuffed to the bed,they didnt put it in movie BUT will appear in dvd,i just cant find it.

Re: Stripper scene in TII?
My mind just got stuck when he referenced "dvd series". HUH?
I went to sonystyle.com/thisisit and saw the dvd priced at $19.99. Will buyer receive a series of dvd's at that price or just one? There was no detailed description of what the dvd would contain i,e, additional rehearsal footage. This is getting really weird boys and girls. I'm hearing the theme from Twilight Zone in my head right now.

Re: Stripper scene in TII?
@marsheliamorgan
Thank you for noticing. I heard a few people talking about it being on the dvd but I wasn't sure whether it was true of not. Idk. I hope it is. That would be an interesting scene. 3-4 hours of extra info???? Really KO???? That is great! But no one will see the dvd until next year and if there are clues on the dvd then we'll have to wait that long.
Hmmm...so Michael won't return until next year?
@GirlSaturday
I wonder about the dvd thing too. How many discs is it going to be etc.?
And I haven't read anything else about it. Only that you can pre-order it.
