THIS IS IT.. gone quiet!!

i've been thinkin over the past week, everything seems to have gone quiet
over the movie!!

Don't know how to explain this but i feel like all the hype is over
far to quickly for the 'king of pop'..

just a strange feeling i have at this present time!!

don't know what i'm expecting if that makes sence but something
doesn't feel right!!

just a thought!!

absolutely 1st mjhd went down now "this is it" 's hype all gone.
it seems there was some relation between. I just wanna find out who the hell was amy and who were behind mjhd. I m atleast relaxed that the members of this forum are constantly investigating king's death as well the reason of mjhd went down.

This movie was for the true fans not the whole world. People didn't get the point to them, it's message is so abstract they miss it. But don't worry, Michael will always be Michael. No matter how bashful the media gets towards him, he always proves them wrong. It's only a matter of time... (Black Spider...)

This Is It has been rather quiet in the US all along. The advertising has been sporadic at best. Theaters have not been sell-outs here. The extended run past the two week period came as quite a surprise. I will be interested to see the box office figures this week. Movie theater owners must be pulling their hair out over this since they show the movie to nearly empty theaters.

well i know....because its Michael the movie had to be earning millions and millions but actually we have to remember that Michael was very much trashed here in the states, his home and although we his fans have gone to see the movie, some people won't find it interesting(BIG MISTAKE) and won't even bother....people is so used to artists without substance and are too blind to see the great genious Michael was....but i must say, for it to be a documentary and made off of rehearsals, it has made good money....and well do i need to mention its hype worldwide???? i mean i live close to the mexican border and aside from a little .45 or so commercial about the movie, i haven't seen any promotion in the mexican channels....and it has made much more overseas....even detroning the miley movie(well her movie did pretty good here but overseas??) Michael is the king and worldwide which is wayyyyyy more impressive

Let us not forget it was footage of a rehearsel! Not footage of an actual performance. It is shocking that it even was shown in theaters and that a lot of people went to see it. Just shows that Michael even in rehearsel mode can do something that people in performance mode can't do. Just name any artist and none of them would even be shown in theaters with a huge performance let alone if they were only rehearsing.

I'm sure the people are just embarrassed of what they've done to MJ. They tried to bring him down and they did succeeded. Though, I don't think Michael's death was what they had in mind. Now they are just trying to pretend like they have nothing to do with Jackson.

The first time I went to see it was opening day and there were only 20 people in the theater. I went again the other night and there were only 13. So not a large crowd here in NC which surprised me. I am curious to see how the DVD sales do when it is finally released.

I also think there is much more footage of the rehersals. Another movie perhaps or maybe on dvd?

i agree that it was not a movie like any other!! an curiosity has led a lot of
people to the cinemas..

but i personally think michael was amazing in the footage.. obviously not
giving 100% due to it being 'rehersals' but he certainly made an impression
definatly in my opinion that he was not a sick frail old man!! and to the person who went with me.. who now things something is strange.. as he looked so well!!

therfore i would have expected more controversy over the film!! so 2 speak

sky news had a reporter sayin a few bits then that was it..

There is a tendency these days for people to prefer viewing movies in the comfort of their homes. Plus rumor has it that there will be 2-3 additional hours of footage. Hmmm 2-3 hours of additional footage means that we will virtually get another two movies inside of this.

I don't like the thought of giving money to SONY yet with a teasing carrot like that, I will purchase the dvd. LOL...where is the bootleg guy when you need him?

I hope it will come out on BLU RAY...because the quality in the theaters was sometimes very bad...

I agree that people in the US don't seem to appreaciate good art, not always and go for "art" with no substance. It is sad, but true. The movie was taken out from IMAX after just one week.

Agree with the quiet stuff going on.... maybe the calm before the storm?
I went on opening night to Imax and was maybe a quarter of the theater filled. I expected a large crowd. And three more times since then and only maybe 10 to 20 people there... hmmm! This was in Orlando.

Yes, this film WAS for the fans... no one else that I talked to that saw it even said it was boring... which comments got under my skin... it was no way boring! And no one stayed til the very end... only the first night they did. Well, I am glad MJ put this movie out... we got his messages loud and clear. Thanks MJ for a beautiful movie for US... the Fans!

Oh good to know! I would love to see the wardrobe Michael was going to wear. They showed a a little bit, but I would love to see it completed and have the opportunity to see it all...what costumes for what songs, etc.

The quality is good however, it stops at the end of Man In The Mirror and doesn't show the credits but for now I am fine with that. It does has subtitles but only in the interview sections. I have watched this movie now atleast 15 times since I found it online.

Just go to limewire.com and download the basic (free) version. Nothing to it. I would suggest that you have a good virus protection on your computer since it is a shared site where people can upload and download videos, music, etc. This is also what I use to download all of my music.

i use limewire.. just downloading the film now.. woo.. hope it works

I have never seen that before. I just went to the website and if you on the main page click get basic, then run. It will show you the prices for extended pro and pro but there should be a bar at the top that says if your download doesn't start automatically click here. I just installed it on my work computer with no problems.
