Maybe Mike's Game ..."¿ ?"...

"What if Michael had proposed a game to us?, What if you wanted to give us the opportunity to all who believe in him a unique experience?. Remember what the film: It's an adventure, a great adventure. I was going to take to places never been, show us a moment that never seen before. It feels so blessed to give this to the world. The life event. That's all for love.

The key is that this is an alternate reality game. It sounds very strange, I know, do not be afraid, the truth is that I had no idea what this was until I looked on the wiki.
Here it is (they are a bit complement):

Definition: An alternate reality game (in English-ARG Alternate Reality Game) is an interactive narrative that uses the real world as support, presenting a series of real media resources (TV, radio, internet, press, ...) to tell a story that is affected by the intervention of the participants.
Without a global consensus to define the concept, it seems clear that is at a midpoint between a game and a set of puzzles. It has been described as the first Internet birth narrative form, because its essence usually lies in seeking and sharing information.

Basic Principles
• Narration raised as archeology. While other games to be transmitted in a linear fashion information here can be divided into pieces and spread all sorts of places. Find each piece and assemble all the right way are the basis of the game. So we're all looking for evidence and trying to fit them going crazy!
• Narrative not defined platform. The fragments of information may appear as text, image, video or audio in any medium without the one that provides the data only. This also coincides
• Design for a mind-hive. It could follow the game individually, but the trend in a medium like the internet makes it different participants tend to unite and face the challenges together, complementing skills and dividing tasks. These are.
• Real life as a medium. The players, instead of interpreting characters remain themselves during the game. Instead of being someone who researches in his name in a fictional world, they themselves can perform the actions that advance the adventure. Another yes.
• This is not a game .... Within the game, aesthetics is not aimed at any moment for the characters or the situations are part of a work of fiction. So is everybody thinking that MJ is dead clear funeral and everything!
• ... but not a hoax. Once you exit, for example, web pages that are presented, it is clear demarcation indicating where the game starts and where it ends, without attempting to mount a farce that blends in with reality.
• Constant change. The information can be updated, corrected or disappear within the framework of the game, according to the fiction that it poses.
• Interaction particularly direct. The progress made by the group of players are transported to the game in the form of changes, but the game is also open to respond to proposals and conclusions drawn from the participants. That is part of "actors" led by Michael we are creators and responsible for how the game progress by participating in our thoughts and decisions.

Single Terminology
Among the key terms to understand the ARG are:
• Puppetmaster (puppeteer) - A puppetmaster or "PM" eis a person involved in the design and / or operation of the ARG. The Puppetmasters are both allies and opponents of the player, creating obstacles and providing resources to overcome them, especially during the process of telling the story of the game base. The Puppetmasters generally remain hidden behind the curtain during the game (you sound?, Liberian girl total). The real identity of the puppet masters may or may not further disclosed. In this case the creator would be clear, if so what would Michael be enjoying himself by reading. And obviously appear at the end.

• The Curtain - The curtain is usually a metaphor for separating the puppetmasters player. May be under total secrecy regarding the identity of the puppeteer and his involvement in the production, or only mention the fact that puppetmasters can not communicate directly with players during the game, interacting with characters and participating in the design. (TMZ, Larry King, ...)

• Rabbit Hole (present in the shirt of Paris and the entertainment lineup Relief Chris Angel) - also known as the Trailhead. A Rabbit Hole follows the first website, contact, or the first test that starts the game. In this case would have been Michaeljacksonhoaxdeath page was where everything began and curiously few hours after his death, a page is not done in 5 minutes, and also because they suspect the death if nothing had happened yet strange. Just the game begin to unfold there.

• Trailhead - A clue left deliberately allowing a player to discover how to get into the game (in this case the false picture of the ambulance, where he began triggered speculation). ARGS Most employ a number of trailheads in various media (TMZ, Larry King, Kenny, and her mouth ...), to maximize the likelihood of the public to discover the game and gets hooked. Some trailheads are hidden, others may be as surreptitious advertising.

• This is not a Game (Tinago) - Separate the ARG of other games is the goal of This Is Not A Game, who fixed the play is such a game: phone numbers mentioned in the ARG, for example, should work, and the AUS should not provide a play space or pre-designed or rules of play. None of us knows who is playing, just we got involved. Apparently everything is real: the Memorial, the burial, is later when we realize all together. And then when we are clear that Michael lives the film shows us, surely a gift

We see it as a game but the rest of the world has moved on and probably aren't even thinking of MJ like we do on a regular basis so would this game work???
I agree this could be what's going on but are we just thinking this is what it is???

If this is all just a game, what I don't believe, I guess we are the players in it and Michael is setting the rules. That makes sense. But like ishealive said most of the people think he is dead. Are they or could they still be players then? hmmm...
but it's interesting to view it like that, good work

I do not see it as a game, this is serious business that was planned for long, besides not directed at everyone, only to fans, or some of their fans, that is a part of them that definitely MJ thinks he died.

I does seem like a ARG at times, with MJ as the puppetmaster. The clues seem timed. The whole MJHDa collapse, the Thisisalsoit.com thing, all the weird tidbits the family and friends are throwing out. TMZ reporting on things that we question, usually shortly after we question it. Makes you think, hmmmmmmmmm, maybe we are writing the script?

But what now? I haven't seen any clues for a while now. I am struggling to keep believing. I see Katherine and Joe in the news, Joe challenging the will, and all the other court stuff and it's not helping.
Smth needs to happen, I need smth to keep believing.

i dont think it is a game michael must have had some serious reasons to fake his death but at the same knowing how hurt his true fans would be needed to leave clues that he is still alive .and really i do not want to no where he is hidding cos if he is in danger i want him safe we all do i just want to no that he is alive and healing from whatever made him do this so if the real michael jackson and not the LKL wannabes is seeing this put me and all your other true fans out of our misery
