Liza Minelli's Statement

“All hell is going to break lose” when the truth is discovered; I'm glad Michael is receiving all the accolades now, because people will think differently when the truth is known.”

Has this been discussed before within this group?
Soon after MJ's "death", Lisa Minelli reportedly made a statement on Larry King's Show. I didn't see her make the statement. Someone else that I know did and she was shocked. My friend got the feeling that Liza had slipped up and revealed something that should have been kept a secret.

Did anyone else see the segment when Liza made the statement. If so, how was her tone and body language especially facial expression. Those are the things that I check for when people talk...lol.

I seen it and I've being trying to figure out what does she mean when she said People will think differently when the truth is known? Also I've being thinking if this is a clue and Does Eliza know something we don't? Like does she know the real deal?

i dont think she is involved...why would she be? i am sure she referred to the drug- stories or whatever. you all know how many rumors the press wrote about him- who knows if she believed them.....i dont like her anyways

Those were her words. Tried to find it on youtube but it's not up there anymore. It was a phone interview and she sounded pretty negative tbh. She was very sure about her statement and she even sounded a bit pissed. To me it seems like she's talking about his personality in some way because of the 'what he was like'. Unfortunately the host didn't ask her any further about her words.
Still no idea what to make of it...

Thanks for the exact quote. I was paraphrasing what had been shared with me. The original quote is even more intruguing. WOW! What was she possibly alluding to?

she sounds like she's is being a total bitch!! Like she is saying he is something other then what we see..."we dont know the REAL MJ"...

Saying he WAS a drug addict and that we only know the MJ we see on TV....that there is another side to him we have no idea about,

We were given an apparant cause of death and we're still celebrating him so I don't know what she mean't by that.
Will the autopsy be totally different to what they said caused his death? IDK she confuses me, the whole case confuses me.

LOL as I re-read the actual quote, I do sense something like that too. It's as if she is hinting at something such as "Just wait until you suckers learn what I already know". Whatever is lurking behind her statement is not something that I would expect a friend to say or share when I "pass away". MJ must be bowled over by the way that friends are behaving.

I imagine that his situation is very much like being invisible and having a chance to hear what people really think of you. Once... I thought that I wanted to have that magical power. At first it seemed like a cool idea but I eventually changed my mind.

My first thought when I heard her statement was that she was referring Michael taking drugs and how people (his fans) were going to react to it when "it comes out". Who needs enemies when you have these kinds of friends, right?

If it´s not clear enough, I´d like to emphasize that I don´t mean, nore do I think, that these drug BS-stories are in any way truthful.

I agree, I think she comes off as being smug with her statements. She for one should not judge how other ppl lived their live, she's battled and continues to battle her own demons.

He was in her wedding to that freakish she-male she married. She was also in a TV show about MJ and never said anything bad.....maybe she's on the booze again and was pickled when she said it...she is a strange one, no doubt about that!!

Have you thought why should someone make that statement, IF referring to a drugaddict, when that's the most common and usual on stars and famous people? Why "All hell's going to break loose" just for this? Elvis was a drugaddict and no-one criticized him when he (suppossedly) died.

I did not get the impression she meant anything bad about MJ. On the contrary, it sounded to me like she was meaning something like this:

he was an incredible man, a great friend, and unfortunately, once the autopsy permeates the news, it and all the speculation about it will monopolize the viewers attention rather than what a great talent and gift he was to us.

To be honest with you, I think it was within a few days of his "passing" and I remember thinking at the time that she didnt appear to be all that upset. She didnt shed one tear.

Some people just don't know when to shut up especially when they know they can't hold their liquor. She had to no right to allude to the fact that all hell was going to break loose. I don't care what comes out about MJ. He was a wonderful, kind, loving human being that bestowed love on this world and was also a great father. I wonder how many millions she ever gave to charity? Im done. I cant do this anymore. I dont like the "past tense talk" That did it for me. I cant believe this is for real. I just cant. I so wish for Michael to be alive, but this kicked every last belief out of me that I ever had. Sad
