Who do you think are in this hoax!

There are SOOOO many speculation about who knows and who doesnt. Who's in it and who isnt... So I was just wondering whether we could come up with a list of people whom we think are aware of it and who we think are completely innocent! I, myself can get a little confused about who is sincere about their 'loss' and who isnt.
Let me start...

People who might be aware are:

Jermaine Jackson ( I believe he knows)
Kenny Ortega
MJ's kids
Liz Taylor
Katherine and Joe Jackson
Larry King (slight chance!)

People who are completely innocent:

The rest of the "This is it" crew eg. dancers and all
Obama

Please continue the list guys! I am rushing an assignment thus I dont have the time yet to type out the reasons so you guys can continue the list with justifications! Thanks!

I think couple of people at TMZ might know. And when I say a couple I mean like 2 maybe even 3. And whoever those people are, they keep slipping in tiny clues for us to catch on to.

I'm sure Janet, LaToya, Rebbie, all of MJ's brothers, Omer and all Jermaine's older kids know as well. Because it only makes sense for them to know. Besides, they're going to be around the children alot so if the kids know. It's crazy to make the kids keep such a great secret from their family.

I don't think Thome Thome knows.

But I think "Dr." Conrad Murry might..

i think we should add mcauley culkin to this list too,he hasnt SAID anything regarding the "death"and since he was busted in oklahoma what like 1 or 2 years ago,he WOULD def. know about laying low and where to hide out,and he was one of michael's closet friends,and he most assuradly did not look upset at burial AND sat all the way in the back.

Yeah Mac should be on the list as well. I'm also a little iffy about LK.
I think he's just a smart man and has probably been looking into the whole

I think the only ones who know is the immediate family (not distant family) and Doc Murray (obviously-he was part of the hoax) and possibly Kenny and Elizabeth Taylor. Obviously more than likely the coroner or someone in the know who were in a position to help but we are not sure and have not yet established if he was in danger and if it is a sort of witness protection.I dont think anyone else will know as the few people who are in on the hoax the less chance of it failing.

I think Mac would konw,he is the godfather of Prince I know,and he has not aid anything. This could be written off as love for Michael and hate for the media...but who knows. I think Liz would know,Janet would know and whatever authority i helpin. Katherine of course would know and maybe Joe. I am beginning to doubt Jermaine knows. Maybe I have this feeling that Jermaine is more sinister then good...but that is my opinion gor the moment. It seems every scary person that came into MJs life (who seemingly is slipping under the LAPD radar) came from Jermaines' friend list. Hmmm.

This is pretty much who I believe knows as well, although I'm not totally sure about KO. Oh and I'll include Liz Taylor and Alberto Alverez. Some people in high places may have been paid off as well, depending on how it was played out. I don't think the media knows a thing...not a chance.

If you know people in high places, you can get away with a lot of stuff. I highly doubt the US government is involved at all. I think they were part of the reason why he went into hiding in the first place IMO.

When people in high places allow someone to get away with things then eventually they will expect something in return from that person. What would the people in high places want from MJ to cause him to go into hiding?

As far as I can tell (I had searched the other day), he hasn't made a statement about MJ's "death" and I've just been waiting for him to say something especially since Michael was a big part of his comedy routine. Still waiting...

P.S. Maybe he's at CT's house? Anything is possible, right?

Diana Ross has to be involved - we don't understand her since june 25... so, in my opinion that´s a clue. She had to stay away - we know how good friend she was/is to MJ and that´s just her role - to us to notice that something is wrong. And her statement about "it´s been happy year..." - they know it will make us think and wonder.
If m wrong then MJ is really dead and Diana is grieving ans suffering so deeply that she just can´t say anything about Michael, she may even avoid thoughts about Michael - to avoid public break down. But, we wont believe it, not yet, right?

I think you're exactly right. His girlfriend Mila Kunis didn't look upset either. I'm not sure she would have been told or not though.

I'm so thankful for this thread! I was just thinking of a thread like this before logged on. I need it to help myself gain perspective. It would be great if we could debunk one anothers' lists until we get to one that makes good sense to all. Mike look what you're putting me through!! (j/k j/k) Laughing

My list is in agreement with many but a little different:

I would add:

The rest of the "This is it" crew eg. dancers and all (that's why he gave them the BIG THANK YOU (for your cooperation, patience, endurance, understanding) speech at the end of the movie. He reiterated to them how important what they were doing was, and that it was for to teach the world to LOVE again (a concert done 50 times in the same spot is not that important nor would it accomplish any of that!) - his entire speech to the cast was (to me) another way of saying, "that's a wrap" rather than the beginnings of a concert tour pep talk, it was like the end of a film shoot.

Obama (he and Mike have the same "agenda" for the world and helping Obama defeat white collar prescription drug traffiking could be a great way for MJ to clear his past, make it count for something, and gain cooperation from Obama (for Obama to authorize certain agencies to work with both of them's larger plan to unify the world) and by Mike not openly supporting Obama's campaign (which I heard Obama asked him to do) this could also be his way of making up for it, being that MJ is politically neutral but still supports the same kinds of things.

Diana Ross (silent IMO because she knows but doesn't support it because it doesn't fit her honest and open style - too much like unnecessary "subterfuge" for her comfort level IMO.

Lionel Ritchie, Smokey Robinson, Berry Gordy

Oprah (I know many may disagree)

Tom Messereu (if he has inquired of the family at a deep level of concern)

Mark Lester (added his 2 cents worth of confusion to the "paternity" issue as a favor to MJ IMO because of media hype for the sake of MJ's children not to be confused at this time. Easier to explain all of it away to them as part of the "hoax" if "uncle Mark" was in on it.

I am still trying to wrap my brain around the inclusion of President Obama. I am an American and see the daily coverage of the President and what is on the agenda here in the US. Would President Obama really have MJ and a hoaxed death on his "A list" of priorities with all of the other critical national and international issues on his plate?

Flipping eck!! Don't mean to be disagreeable but don't you think this is stretching it a bit? How many people do you know who can actually keep a secret? I know only 3 and that is my Mother, Sister and Brother. I do not actually think any of my friends could, possibly my best friend. Is not realistic at all to tell so many, especially when big $$$$$ could be involved. How many of his friends publicly stood up for him when he was going through the court case? How many stood up and protested his innocence in an interview? There were not queueing up were they?
If this is the case he may as well put an announcement in all the leading papers!

The funny thing about secrets is that no matter how we swear not to tell...we inevitably tell someone who in turn tells someone else and so on and so on along the line.

All of our lists of who is in versus who is out are very well-reasoned and thought-provoking indeed. I just have to pause and scratch my head to wonder how sooooo many people could be included and be expected to remain silent to play along with the hoax game.

I'm not sure who is in on it and who isn't. BUT I do think that Michael knew who he could trust completely and those are the ones that were told. He knows who would do anything for him and those that would only want something in return whether it be monetary gain or fame. I would say Janet is in on it. There is no way he wouldn't tell her. They were the closest of the siblings and she stood by him through his most horrible moments.

^ Agree. Janet is most certainly in on it. I meant to include the entire family because they most certainly are. I believe they will have a ball explaining it after they have finished with any plans they have to return to the spotlight now that Michael is (thought by the public to be) "out of the way" because I believe the parents and brothers wanted them to be able to work some, which is another good thing that will come out of this. They couldn't get the attention onto their talents or the Jacksons overall legacy, with Michael taking up so much attention in the public eye.

The end of this "hoax" will return all of them to a place of public stature IMO.

I feel the only reason that the very religious mom and Rebbie are going along with this is because of the overall good that will come out of it. I don't believe Christmas will come with the kids being still with them either. I believe Michael is working on a Christmas "comeback" for the entire world. I believe that's why that article was released about mother being wiling to celebrate Christmas. I don't believe that she will for a moment.

I would add:

The rest of the "This is it" crew eg. dancers and all (that's why he gave them the BIG THANK YOU (for your cooperation, patience, endurance, understanding) speech at the end of the movie. He reiterated to them how important what they were doing was, and that it was for to teach the world to LOVE again (a concert done 50 times in the same spot is not that important nor would it accomplish any of that!) - his entire speech to the cast was (to me) another way of saying, "that's a wrap" rather than the beginnings of a concert tour pep talk, it was like the end of a film shoot.

Obama (he and Mike have the same "agenda" for the world and helping Obama defeat white collar prescription drug traffiking could be a great way for MJ to clear his past, make it count for something, and gain cooperation from Obama (for Obama to authorize certain agencies to work with both of them's larger plan to unify the world) and by Mike not openly supporting Obama's campaign (which I heard Obama asked him to do) this could also be his way of making up for it, being that MJ is politically neutral but still supports the same kinds of things.

Diana Ross (silent IMO because she knows but doesn't support it because it doesn't fit her honest and open style - too much like unnecessary "subterfuge" for her comfort level IMO.

Branca, McClain and Dileo (overseeing Mike's finances)
Chris Tucker and everyone else who knows Mike personally (Mac Culkin, Miko Brando, Dave Dave and everyone else)

Few key members of government who are accustomed to handling high level confidential matters eg., only heads of related agencies
Everyone in his extended family who did not come from miles around to attend to the funeral, memorial etc.

AEG/Sony top level execs (its a triple joint venture w/ AEG/Sony/The Michael Jackson Company

Al Sharpton/Dick Gregory/Louis Farrakhan (I feel their public speeches have been simply serving Michael's purposes)

Stevie Wonder (emotional due to sadness at length MJ has had to go to gain respect)

Lionel Ritchie, Smokey Robinson, Berry Gordy

Oprah (I know many may disagree)

Tom Messereu (if he has inquired of the family at a deep level of concern)

Mark Lester (added his 2 cents worth of confusion to the "paternity" issue as a favor to MJ IMO because of media hype for the sake of MJ's children not to be confused at this time. Easier to explain all of it away to them as part of the "hoax" if "uncle Mark" was in on it.

Who's Not in on it IMO

The dancers' families and friends (they are keeping a huge wonderful secret similiar to how we are unable to freely discuss it with our friends and families)

Most people who were at the funeral (some there for MJ to be rid of them once and for all)

Karen Faye (although I'm a bit undecided for sure about her but I feel she may have irreversibly messed up her trust with MJ and she may be conducting herself just as MJ knew she would although it gets confusing sometimes)

The "followers" as they are called. I feel MJ used the opportunity of their letters to him to set the scene for his "demise".

Quincy Jones, Teddy Riley, Will.I.am, Akon, and every other producer who has worked with MJ but did not know him intimately or has not fully supported him publicly and can't be fully trusted

Lisa Marie, Shana Mangatal, Tatiana, Brooke Shields, Tatum O'Neal etc.etc.etc. (women who proved themselves to run off at the mouth about him publicly, either without giving him support or getting his consent before speaking in his behalf)

I understand your laughing and disagreeing, but its because IMO, those of you who think its about numbers of people, are looking at the quantity vs. the quality. Look at the list again. You will see people who, if they did tell someone, it would be someone who would NOT let it get out to the public.

You have to know its only a huge "secret" to the public. A secret like this is not hard to keep at a high level guys.

By the time the "secret" (which it really is NOT at the end of the day - its only a "mystery") gets around, Michael will be ready to let the cat out of the bag.

I feel the "timing" of this is very key here. The movie is a two-week run. Long enough for people to scratch their heads, see the movie again and begin asking questions.

I believe with all my being that Michael has thought this through so thoroughly that by the time the public at large, whether it be with the help of sites like this one, or just by general word of mouth - by the time the public is getting "on" to it - Michael will be ready for phase II.

I understand your point of view but your opinion is based on the assumption of the fact that you think MJ will return. You say "when Michael will be ready to let the cat out of the bag", well I and many others do not believe this will happen. Fact is actually no one knows but remember Elvis? I have always thought those who thought Elvis had hoaxed his death were crackpots but after investigating I think is quite possible and likely he did. There were many millions of fans awaiting his return and what happened? there are still no answers 32 years later and Elvis will either be really dead by now or 74 years old and hardly likely to come back now! There are many reasons I believe MJ will not be back, they outweigh greatly the reasons he would want to return. Either way not many can be trusted, it's human nature and you can know someone for years and then find out their true colours when you need them most.

Indeed...our theories are heavily influenced by our core beliefs. Comeback believers think one way while Never Return believers follow another type of path.
