Ok, just read the new rules over there.. and I didn't realise it's such serious business investigating this hoax.

Does anyone else feel like there's a major case of dictatorship/officialness with the new rules? I'm not arguing the rules atm, because I can see they are trying to keep MJHD respectful, and I agree with not being allowed to discuss the children. And, keeping the forum respectful towards MJ and family is important... But to go so far to enforce the fact that we are not even allowed to discuss those amazing gold pants in any way is a bit extreme, isn't it?

Not to me. I have no intention of registering at the new MJHD (although I did read the old site), but the no-Gold Pants rule is understandable.

How much more can be said about them? They look great and emphasize all the right areas. Every fan of Michael that lusts for him already knows that, and it's not like his gold pants have anything to do with his faked death anyway.

Not ideal eh? So all the hours and hours each member spent investigating and posting is lost forever so there is nothing for members to recap on at all and will be surely a great task if not impossible to gather information again as they had as events are not fresh in everyones mind and are so many.
I tried to join on a couple of occasions and could not for some reason log in so did not post but if I had I would not be very happy, so this means that all the hard work of each of the members is totally lost? I did however like to read all the clues but I would be very reluctant to post in the future had I been a member. I think this is disgusting.
I think the hoax on that site is from the admin to the members!

In one way I can understand why it's been added as a rule because not everyone feels like reading that sort of conversation. One on one with a friend is fine, but occasionally on a public forum some people go too far. But, I'm definitely not saying "MJHD members are entitled to a thread about the gold pants BOOHISS".. I just found it a bit of an odd rule to be added. IDK.. Was it ever a problem?

Maybe I should've elaborated more.. I've seen this sort of thing happen on other forums after they changed ownership. Suddenly we weren't allowed to discuss certain topics, and things we had previously somewhat avoided became instantly banworthy.. and alot of people got censored, banned or wrote goodbye threads in the early days. Not myself, but it makes for a tense atmosphere.

I think I'll lurk there for a while to see how things go.

I tried to join MJDH once, and it didn't work. I kept reading it and after a while I thought it was a good thing not to have joined in. Why to waste time on a site that arbitrary delete your post, fire you if they don't like what you write, and threaten people to put the site down if they keep on criticizing the way it's ruled. The fact is that if we investigate the Death Hoax, it's sort of logical to investigate a death hoax site created the very day of the death, and to have questions bout the owner and her motivation.

I understand the golden pants rule, though, because I find that kind of comments sort of tasteless, and Michael would have been embarassed at reading them.

Im staying here the new site is too complicated no refernce to what topics people are currently posting on which means breaking news will go unnoticed, I prefer this site after just 4 days of being here, The new MJHD is too "Clinical" looking

Well I have to say I am officially ticked off. I was so lost without my "home" and now that it is back I can't stand it. I don't like the new look, you can't use moving sigs, no gold pants discussions which were more for stress relief and a fun break once in a while. Nothing wrong with that.

I have officially lost my family and I feel like crying. I waited impatiently like other MJHDers to get back there and they give us that.

I was lost and wandering when the site went down then found others here. I didn't care for this site at first because I was unfamiliar with it and the members here. I got used to it pretty quickly even though I can't seem to get a sig to work. I have become familiar with this site now and enjoy it enough but this is not my "family."

I felt there was too much censorship before the crash and also too much control over people. Like a dictatorship, but I dealt with it because I loved it there. I feel now after reading the new rules and seeing how things are there that the problem will only be worse now.

I did register again but I will no longer be a part of that family. I don't like the feel of the site. It is cold and uninviting. I may lurk and read but that is all. I don't know what I am going to do now. I feel lost all over again and my heart is broken yet again. I just want to cry. I think I will.
