CRY.....need some help!

Everyone is familiar with the song Cry. It's one of my favorite.
Today I listened to it on my MP3 player and noticed something I never noticed before. Right before the song ends, in the last chorus, Michael adds lyrics that are not written. He adds: Take the load of me, why do you put it all on me?, don't put it all on me. Can't do it till you cry.

And then I hear: "When I die" All cry at the same time tonight.

Does anyone else hear that, or am I going crazy?

it seems the lyrics are changing to all the songs im bloody confused

I can't say that I have heard that myself but I will have a very close listen now that you've mentioned it.
I must say though, one of the biggest triggers for me realising Michael is still alive was that song because as I mentioned in my theory at Michael's memorial he had over 2 billion people watching and crying at the same time. So to me it does make a lot of sense Smile

I never noticed it before. But then again, this is the first time I listened to it with headphones on. Before I just always kinda sang along, and sang exactly what one would expect to hear, which is "When I cry", but today I heard " "When I die". Now I've listened to it several times more and I keep hearing the same thing. I could be wrong...that's why I asked if someone hears what I hear.

The thing is though, if I'm right... Well, that just confirms it to me that Michael has planned this for a long time.

It's the very last part. He sings in a really high voice (falsetto), while chorus sings All cry at the time tonight. He finished with: When I die (high voice) and then: all cry tonight.

Thank goodness! I was starting to think I was going crazy. I keep hearing it.

TEN? lol That's a loong time.
My theory is:
He was planning it since 2005 RIGHT after he was acquitted. I believe he was depressed and started
feeling really overwhelmed and started thinking thoughts like, "I wonder if they'd be happy if I just DIED" or something like that,
so he decided to plan to fake his death.

I really think that the songs Cry, Privacy and Threatened on the Invincible album, along with Ghost, Scream, This Time Around, and Will You Be There are all clues.

By the way! Don't ever call yourself crazy not even jokingly. Life and death is in the power of the tongue (I hope I have offended you but it was on my heart to say). I heard him say die in Cry. I love it when he sings falseto. He has such a beautiful voice that makes you want to melt. I believe Ghost had the most clues. He was in some other place with no name. The Mayor wanted to run him out of town. I believe MJ may have been able to see into the future somehow. He knew what was going to happen to him and he made provisions waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! back then to make his escape. The man is brilliant! Keep the Faith!

I had someone who doesn't know the first thing about MJ listen to the song today, not telling her what I had in mind, and she said she definitely heard him sing: When I die, all cry tonight.
