Now MJ is mentioned in the Wikipedia page of death hoaxes

Post by Missyb007 on Sun Nov 22, 2009 4:40 pm

No it's not what it seems, but he sure is being mentioned in the wikipedia page of Death Hoax, and to me it seems that even the Wikipedia people have there question marks to it Wink

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_hoax

Celebrity death hoaxes
In recent years fake death hoaxes about celebrities have been most widely perpetuated via the Internet. However they are not a new phenomenon; in 1945 following the death of Franklin Roosevelt there were hoax reports of the deaths of Charlie Chaplin and Frank Sinatra, among other celebrities of the time. [1] [4] Possibly the most famous hoax of this type was the "Paul (McCartney) is Dead" rumour of the late 1960s.
Hoaxes about the death of a celebrity increase in frequency when genuine celebrity deaths occur. With the 2009 death of Michael Jackson, which closely coincided with the deaths of Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett, hoax reports emerged concerning the deaths of a number of celebrities.[5]

Just thought it would be nice to let you all know that now even Wikipedia knows about the death hoax "rumors" of Michael..

Oh btw, did anyone noticed the fact that lately MSN.com and MSN.nl keep talking about the "Famous death hoaxes" ?

And another thing the wiki page links to this toohttp://entertainment.uk.msn.com/celebrity/photogalleries/article.aspx?cp-documentid=148291678

As wikipedia is a page where everyone can edit it, it could easily have been done by a hoax believer.

A while ago he was also mentioned on faked death:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Faked_death&oldid=325217028

Michael Jackson, an American singer/songwriter/dancer/director, who faked his death in 2009, in order to show the world that the media is not to be trusted. 2010.

But they removed him already, as you can see here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faked_death

And everyone who signs in can edit the pages.

Alright, I just looked at that page...but I also looked back at Faked Deaths, a redirection from a while back. Look at these 2 pages, interesting, the last name mentioned on each page. Wink

Those are from the History...both posted by "Thecheetoman", whoever that is (According to wikipedia, he doesn't exist. O.o ). He also took him off the list though, it's not like someone saw Michael Jackson and took him off...maybe it's a clue, maybe not...

**EDIT -- Whoops, sorry. Someone beat me to it. LOL
