I can't find the thread where this talent scouting for the This Is It movie was discussed, so I'll post it over here, just in case anyone's interested.
I applied for fun's sake and after only two hours I got a reply from a talent scout named Jenny (from Los Angeles). She wrote, the following:
I took a look at your profile today & like your look for a new feature film that is now casting. Please Apply Immediately as filming starts 9/21. This is a Great Opportunity & should be taken seriously.
After that email I received three more emails, telling me to contact her ASAP.

Going to the site, gave me the following message/screen:
Being asked to pay upfront, made me suspicious, so I Googled her name, together with city-name and company. I found several pages, where people wrote they received the same e-mails and that it was BS, so I think we best ignore these e-mails.
By the way...in another e-mail she said, they selected me, based on my photo......which I had not even uploaded yet, so this is definitely BS.

So wanting to hire you on spot on 9/21 ??? and wanting you to pay automatically ??? sounds like something familiar .....

Yes, I had to reply before 9/21, 'cause filming starts on that day. But in order to read those ultra-important messages, she wrote me, I'ld first have to become a Gold-member.
There are several ways to pay. Monthly right away = $39,95 (like most subscriptions on the net nowadays). Also an option to get a three day membership, after which a monthly summ of $39,95 will be automatically withdrawn from my bankaccount....so NOOOOOOOOOOO WAY! hahaha
