I hear "He's gone" but I don't hear the siren.

its kind of behind the beat if thats any sense..

you know what you r right-those are ambulance horns for sure and then the siren but just for a second.

This is what I hear: someone says "open up six", buzzer, opening of a (jail) cell door, someone saying "he's gone" and then the alarm (siren) sounding (because a prisoner is not in his cell).

This is not an American siren (for emergency vehicles) but a warning siren (alarm) that sounds in bldgs during emergency situations.

AHHH @citygal-that makes more sense (for the song). Sorry I am not real familiar with distincing between alrams etc. LOLLLLLL

@neverlandprincess -- I can see why one would think it is a siren and in a sense it is but not for emergency/police vehicles.

Since sirens are different in the states vs. Europe, I understand why one would think that.

Well I am in the states but all I could really relate to an ambulance was the alarm (which kind of sounded like a horn)-and the speakers on this comp are not all that.

What album is this song (Xscape) from?

I looked at the Invincible album last night and it is not listed and I can't find it on any of the others. When I google I get lyrics but I can't seem to find from what album it comes from. The only mention I see is that it was a "leaked" song. Is this true??

yep, it was an unreleased song......found after Mj's "death". Interesting, right?

This song is bold music making. I just feel bad that I don't have an
original copy of the song. I can't listen in detail to the keyboard
sounds in the middle-high range. I love the short, picked notes of the
keyboard/synth up high in the chorus, extra funky! I know there is
picked guitar but I can't get it clearly on this "smelly" download.
I think this one is a "killer song", Michael, to put it in your
wording. It includes so many things that we know are you and that makes
the song rich: the intro in prison, the racing car, your daughter's
voice in the middle(?), your heavy breathing doing some serious dance
moves, the cluster-chord background voices in the chorus, etc. What's
new to me is your use of sampling and electronic sounds: very tasteful
in this song. This song would have stood at the importance of "Rock My
World" in Invincible but, I feel, would not have fit properly with the
rest of the album if that's what the plan was. I would leave that solo
bass line in sextuplets off. Somehow, I think that belongs in the 80's
or 90's but not now anymore. I would leave "the birds" (picked
keyboard/synth notes in the chorus) alone in that measure, instead:
make us feel we're levitating, flying!
I think the "snare" (beat 2 and 4) is just beyond anything you have
ever done before! That sound would make a piece of concrete stand up
and dance! Just awesome!
Please, this song has got to be released in its entirety and full
sound. I can only hope it is included in your next album. Thanks.
