I noticed that too, and checked the booklet of History album, it was written as simply "Michael Jackson" either he composed it or sang it.

I just bought the 2 disc cd " the essentials" and it too is worded with "written by Michael J Jackson" but "sung by Michael Jackson". I really wouldnt read to much into this at all.

Did anyone already find out what the sentence
"Always great to sing with my brother' means?....

Why putting it in singular, not in plural? Have you noticed in the booklet of This is it... Icon_rolleyes

I dunno but I'd tend to think it must mean MJ was alive and well when he wrote those words for the CD booklet for a CD that wasn't even "found" until "after" supposedly. Have you noticed in the booklet of This is it... Icon_cheers

I agree with this. Some things are clues and some things are just the way they are.

I think the "always great to sing with my brother" thing is just there because it's there. We are all Michael's "brothers and sisters" you know. Always great to sing/be with Michael. The Michael J Jackson thing was really weird for me at first but now that I know it's written on other albums too I think we shouldn't look into it so much. Another thing...all of the songs say written by Michael J Jackson except for Jam. Have you noticed in the booklet of This is it... Icon_scratch Typo maybe?

I´m truly not an expert but I guess that when it comes to music publishing rights, no artist is interested in doing any formal errors or typos (alone because of the legal issues, royalties etc...)

Not sure if I put that right (I´m no native speaker) but I hope you know where I want to go with this...

I`m pretty sure that there MUST be a reason for that distinction - even if I have no idea what it could be. scratch

If you also look on the back of the booklet by the barcode it says SONY and underneath it, it says make.believe.

I found that very interesting too. This slogan is new and recently changed in September.

Yeah it is interesting how they changed the cover from "Like You've Never seen him before." To, "Discover the man you never knew."
