LOL, It becomes quite addictive. A lot of interesting pics, links, convo, news and etc... They say that Twitter is like one of the quickest ways for something to spread. They also said that alot of times, BREAKING NEWS IS on TWITTER FIRST before the news, due to observation and witnessed happenigns from everyday people.

Also, SEARCHING for things on TWITTER IS BEATING out GOOGLE sometimes, becuase it takes GOOGLE and other Search engines anywhere form 3 hours up to 2 days for it to index within the search results.

And I have found it to be true sometimes. HA!

Hi Zembla! When I joined about 6 months ago, I said the same thing. LOL! And that was before it became majorly popular a few months ago.

When You would like to post a Tweet or response to some one just click HOME ( http://twitter.com/home ). Also, if you'd like to reply to someone, you will just put an @ at the front of their name (@MichaelJackson ) or hit "REPLY" and it will automatically populate the name in the text field at the top of the screen. It becomes much easier once you understand the concept.
It basically text messaging to people (140 Characters) on the pc.
You can also DIRECT MESSAGE (DM) people, but they have to be following you in order to send them a private message.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Also, if anyone needs help with placing a background up or they need me to create one for them with their supplied picture and text, I'd be more than happy to assist you!

I have a REALLY dumb question. If I sign up for twitter, can I "tweet" from my computer, or do I have to have a special kind of cell phone to do it? I have an out dated cell phone, and I hate texting...so that's out of the question. If I can do it from my computer, I will sign up.

Sure you can use your PC Savannah - thats what most of us are doing, they also allow tweet from your mobile/cell phone but PC is perfectly fine

Thanks for the reply. I will sign up tonight. I have kind of abandoned my facebook account because any extra time I have, I'm right here!!! My friends probably wonder what happened to me. haha.
