3 Faces of Michael: Part III
Part III
Little Mikey, age 7, is a tormented child who suffered horrible abuse at the hand of adults, familiar adults and complete strangers. He is lodged in his own child-like state and does not grow beyond his age developmentally or emotionally. He is fearful of the world and mistrusts practically everyone around him. The only ones that he remotely trusts are his peers...children. They will not hurt him. They are like he is ...innocent and pure. When he is around them, he can be himself since there are no pressures or demands to perform. He is aware of the alter egos. He seems to like Michael Jackson and looks up to him , but he is horribly afraid of the King of Pop. The King of Pop reminds him of the other adults in his life who have betrayed him and used him for their own selfish needs. During happier times at Neverland, it is Little Mikey who surfaced when the children visited. He hosted the sleepovers filled with games, movies, and child-like fun. Little Mikey loves his Neverland playground. It enables him to disappear and forget the bad times along with the bad people. Little Mikey is a good person who has dealt with some bad things. He tries so hard to fit in with his peers and be a regular little boy. During his sleepovers he engages in many activities that are playful and fun. Children are naturally curious about their world, themselves and other people. They want answers to their questions especially those about their anatomy. Some of Little Mikey's peers start to play curiosity games and among them is the game ..."If you show me yours then I will show you mine". It's an innocent game that children have played since the dawn of time. Little Mikey is now playing the game with children. All of the young children (including Little Mikey) are being silly, giggling and thinking child-like thoughts as they play this innocent game ....yet they do not look like he does ...a fully grown adult man. Unfortunately for Little Mikey, adults accidentally notice the games and decide to take advantage of what they witness. These opportunistic adults envision successful extortion plans that could produce huge sums of money. Soon Little Mikey will be accused of committing unthinkable acts. He is confused and does not understand the meaning of the charges or why adults are so mean and angry toward him. The confusion sends him into hiding and his two alter egos are left to face the charges.
