3 Faces of Michael: Part I
Insomnia kicked in so I am finished sooner than previously thought. I'll undoubtedly pay for later on when I have to be wide eyed and alert.
Part I
3 Faces of Michael/My Hoax Theory came to me suddenly and hit me like a hard punch to the stomach. It is a very disturbing theory and I even had trouble re-reading my own thoughts while writing. The theory may indeed upset some and anger others. Consider yourself warned.
In summary, I strongly believe that a series of severely traumatic events triggered Michael Jackson to suffer from a mental state known as Dissociative Identity Disorder. I borrowed the title for my hoax from an old American movie.
Here's some background on why I compare Michael to the original Three Faces of Eve book/movie.
The Three Faces of Eve is the title of a 1957 book and film, loosely based on the true story of Chris Costner Sizemore, a woman who suffered from dissociative identity disorder. Sizemore's identity was concealed in the book and film, and was not revealed until decades later.
Eve White is a timid, self-effacing wife and mother who has headaches and occasional blackouts. Eventually she is sent to see a personality psychiatrist Dr. Luther, and while under hypnosis her "alter personality", wild, fun-loving Eve Black, discloses herself. Eve Black knows everything about Eve White, but Eve White is unaware of Eve Black. With Eve Black on the loose, Eve White's husband leaves her and abandons their daughter, Bonnie. Eve White is sent to an asylum after Eve Black tries to kill Eve White's daughter.
Dr. Luther considers both Eve White and Eve Black to be incomplete and inadequate personalities. Most of the film depicts Luther's attempts to understand and deal with these two faces of Eve. He eventually prompts her to remember a traumatic event in Eve’s childhood. Her beloved grandmother had died when she was six, and according to family custom relatives were supposed to kiss the dead person at the viewing, making it easier for them to let go. Eve's grief and terror led to her "splitting off" into two distinctly different personalities.
Under continued therapy, a third personality appears, the relatively stable Jane. After discovering the cause of her disorder, Jane is gradually able to remember everything that has ever happened to all three personalities. Luther asks to speak with Eve White, they discover that Eve White and Eve Black no longer exist. All three personalities are once again a single whole. She marries a man named Earl whom she met when she was Jane and reunites with her daughter Bonnie.
I believe in dissociative identity disorder (D.I.D). Severe trauma triggers this complicated mental state of being. However, I don't think that too many people have experienced it. In other words, I don't think that the neighbor who shouted at me one day for taking her parking space, yet brought cookies as a peace offering, suffers from D.I.D. It's not that common. My research led me to understand that when someone has transitioned from one personality to the next, he/she totally becomes that person: mentally, emotionally and physically. If he/she looks into a mirror, the reflection will be of the person who they have transitioned into. Alters may be aware of one another… or not. Alters who are aware of one another, often battle for dominance. Some alters fade in and out over the course of a person’s lifetime. That determining factor is mostly based on who may be needed to cope with a particular situation at any given time. Likewise some alters make one-time appearances and never appear again.
Allow me to introduce you to three people: Michael Jackson, Little Mikey and The King of Pop.

Great intro to this story! (Three Faces of Eve was one of my favorite films) I don't know if this is literally related to cracking this 'death hoax' or if its just something to 'prime the pump' or entertain but I am utterly impressed, especially with the last line! So much talent on this board, my goodness!!
