Ok so I said I wasn't going to post anymore and while that is still true, I really need your help with something.

I would appreciate it if you could have a look at the pictures below and let me know which, if any, stand out to you and for what reason. If you could also give an explanation, that would be fab.

Stand out for any reason, whether this be Michael or not! Just the first thing that comes to your mind

Well, not only from these pics but from many pics / footage I've seen, I've always had a bad feeling about:

* 2000's cheeks
* 2001's nose (seems smaller than before and after)
* From 2005 on (except O2 conference) he seemed to have stopped smiling as much.

2000. Might be cuz of the cheeks though... it just doesn't fit in...

I must say, the same observations as Annie, plus the dimple in the chin, more "deep" in the latest pics (2009 more than 2001)

2000 cheeks look different...you know what I find curious? that in the picture from 1995 and 2005 he actually looks younger in 2005. Probably due to cosmetic surgery?

--In the las 3 photo he has sun glasses
--in 1995 his upper lip is very slim, like in They don't care about us
--in the 2nd photo of 2001 i can see in the backround the papparazzi who was friend with, but i might be wrong
--in 2001 his chin is very little and in 2009 is bigger
--in 2009 in the middle of the chin, that sign? i don't know how you call it, i very pronounced
--in 2000 his nose is bigger than in 1997 and 2001
--in 2009 his skin is yellow or orange, and in the rest is a nice pink or white

His eyes and his lips are damn beautiful!
i love the way he looks in the photos from 1997 and 2007

There's something completely off about MJ in 2001.

I think it was at VMA or MTV! When he was singing, a lot of time he was hidding his upper lip! I though he had surgery or something! His lip was inflate or puffed-up!

2009 photo. bcoz all of those photos prior to 2009 show Michael's small dimple (just a little dent) but in 2009, it's relatively bigger..

yup 2001-2005 are different from all of them...don't think this was our MJ in those years

1st group same person 1980 1982 `1984 MJ
2nd group same person 1988-1992 except pic with bad written on it..not MJ
3rd group Not MJ at all....1995-2005..eerie pics
4th group Not MJ at all....2006-2009

Yep, I agree. And he also seemed to be in pain throughout the whole thing.
However, I have to think it was indeed MJ because when he performed Billie Jean it was like he became alive and did an amazing job at it. I don't think an impersonator could have done such a great job.
Still, something was really off about him at that time.

PS: It was the MJ 2001 30th Anniversary Celebration at Madison Square Garden.

I have other opinions, but 1995 and 2000 stand out to me right now.

Myself and Bidoksa are working on a theory at the moment and we just wanted to get some input from other members as to what they thought of the above pictures which were posted in a magazine.

The ones that stand out the most are the ones from 2000 to 2005! Something not only about the face but the eyes! Huuum! Very strange indeed.

Thanks Annie! I just watched the show again! Nobody can imitate what he did! He was dancing like nobody!
And to be onest, I think it's Michael in all the pictures (I stll question the one from 2009), but if you look at his eyes, you can't compare them wth others!

I've seen already seen thousands of MJ photos and it's him in the above photos! Maybe there is one photo of an impersonator, but the in rest is Michael Jackson!
I always look at the photos with zoom and I almost always find the 3 scars that he always had! One under his lower lip in the right side, one under his chin right side, and one on his cheek, right side (I find this on the 02 photo as well)

Here's my thoughts pic by pic:

1980-1984~Hey Mikey, how you doin?!
1988-1990~No change as far as I can tell except for skintone
1992~The nose is very slim and why does he have so much hair covering his eyes? unless...hmmm...
1995~Ding! ding! ding! We have a winner, folks! Overall this one stands out the most to me. The eyes, nose, eyebrows, that cheshire cat smile, lip shape, cheeks, need I go on...?
1997-2000~Eyelashes, cheekbone, the hair...
2001~In the 1st pic, the right eye appears to be reddish in color almost like they have "pink eye" . The 2001s look really sad.
2004-2005~The hair that is being swept over the eyes to maybe conceal them...idk...?
2006-2007~Definitely skintone especially against all the layers of black clothing. We all know Mike liked glittery pieces...I don't see much glitter going on in these two...but then again, what do I know ?
2009~Hmmm...uuhhh...lemme see...smile, chin, shoulders, hand, hair *shrugs shoulders* aawww, man, I give up!

I see differences in every picture in: his skin color (thats obvius), his hair, his eyes, eyebrows, eyelashes, cheschire, lips, cheeks...etc, etc.

I don't understand how he said he never had have surgery, we love him but we are not silly and blind!!

I promised/ordered myself NOT to check the forum this weekend.....the flesh is weak, isn't it?!

At first glance, without thinking too much and just looking over the pics, I think the pics of 2001 and 2009 stand out the most. The look too different from the rest. Allthough the 2009 pic gives me the feeling it's not him, I'm not sure about the 2001 pics, allthough I remember thinking it was not him during the 30th aniiversary performance.

Besides that the pic from 200 strikes me as odd.

okay i know i said i am not posting over the WE but i really need to say my opinion on that now

until 2005 i would say its 100% Michael- but its actually pretty obious how OPs changed him over the years and i think it was also stress at some point in 1995 because of trials...just look at his skin in this year, it does not look good...
the biggest problem to me is actually 2 pics in 1988- i am sure!!!! BAD cover is him but the other pic looks just strange to me- i dont know why it just does...

and now we come to 2006- i am absolutly sure its not MJ- just look at his face!
2007 is him again IMO but not 2009 (i am convinced that O2 guy is not him at all)

OK:
- in 1995 looks like a completely different person (maybe because of the hair)
- in 2000 -cheeks and nose

1980 and 1982 are the standout photos for me.

1980 shows MJ in his most "natural" state... physically and mentally. He appears carefree, relaxed yet determined, confident, but most of all happy with his newfound freedom from the burden of Joseph and the Jackson 5.

1982 is the eerie photo from a photo shoot right before the dramatic physical changes. There was no make up, no long hair curls or other facial enhancments. The picture gives me the impression that he is thinking..."What will be their reaction when they see what I am about to do?"

1995, 1997, 2000 and 2005 - his cheeks are very prominant but then not so in pictures in-between those years.

whatever, i don't care how many surgeries Mike has done...since he's my Angel of Magic, i really don't care. I don't come into his privacy. I love You Michael, don't forget!

I believe 2001 pics are VERY weird...I consider that is HIM in every picture, but obviously, the differences are huge!!

The eyes start big, except in the nineties 1995-2000 they are smaller and peculiar cheekbones, the upperlip is thinner too. And from 2001 the eyes are big again. So 2 Michael's we are looking at here? 2004 and 2005 seems also 2 different people to me. Maybe the pictures of 2006 until now are the same guy of the nineties but then older even more OPS.

2006,2007 and 2009 i don't know,doesn't look Michael to me.

and also 2005 pic looks different to me.

2001 the distance between bottom chin and lips seems smaller than in others,
also the eyes seem rounder, but that could just be makeup

2006 his chin seems to be rounder, not as square

the sclera (white part of the eye) are are different. Using 1980 as baseline, then easy to see more sclera in 1982, 1984, 1988 and 2001.

Your side-by-side 1988 pics nicely illustrate sclera differences.

If eyes are windows to the soul, then I feel like I am looking at different souls.

I agree with rowdyangel, but I also added 2009 in the group with those other pictures.

2009!!!! That pic is and was weird! His color skin, his cheeks, hair, mouth...c'mon! he wasn't MJ

The 2009 pic has too many shadows, which makes him look almost skeletal.

OK I believe it is MJ in every picture...the only thing i find peculiar is that in the 1995 pic he looks older than in the 2005 picture, when it should be the other way around...of course this could be because of surgery, pulling the skin on the forehead, eyebrows, etc...it will change the looks in your eyes...

2001 he looks ossssss hurt and sad!!! 2001 compaird to pic from 2006 he´s looking so healty and good and young and great... That 2001 pic compaird to the last pic... It seems to me that he got younger instead of older... weird... donno something not right.... but from 1995 he´s not himself it seems... but 2001 is the pic he should have looked like his last years... Donno but think you have a good point here going..wondering what it is....LOL

Looking at these pics, 2000 really stands out to me because of the cheekbones. I still think this is the real MJ though. However, 2005 thru 2009 look different to me...I don't know if this person is the real MJ, but if you compare the smile in 2005 to the O2 guy in 2009, they are the same...Which makes me think 2005 guy through 2009 guy are the SAME guy, but possibly not MJ. He looks dramatically different in 2001 also, but I do still think that is the real MJ. Are my ramblings making any sense at all? lol

It's weird to see all these pics next to eachother, the more you look at them you can see the differences over the years. Now I am convinced that at least a few of them, and I'm guessing the more recent ones, are not the real MJ. I'm torn with the O2 guy though, because originally I thought there was no way that was MJ, but then lately I was thinking it was...but now I'm not sure again! lol
