496 Registered Members? It's almost party time...

When the number reaches 500, I suggest that we have a party! Everyone should bring a dish and beverage that they really enjoy. It will be fun to try new food and drinks that may be popular in your part of the world. I love rum drinks and fresh fruit salads. Naturally I will create a fruit salad that is spiked with some rum. The under 18 members will be allowed to taste but only in moderation and under the supervision of those over 18. Also.... no driving is allowed after you try my special fruit salad.

One question though...
Why are there many more lurkers than people who post?

Can we all come in fancy dress?? I want to wear my gold pants - lol

I used to lurk before I actually registered and started posting! I don't know why I lurked though - I guess I was afraid of being proven wrong with my belief in the hoax.

Yes! Paper plates and napkins are always needed. I called for the party but I am not washing a lot of dishes afterwards.

Logistics prevent us from physically doing this. So we must settle on a virtual party.

Cant believe it-went to bed very late and last night there were 499 members and now have logged on lunchyime and is 505. We are a movement,an organisation-we will take over the world and find out the truth (hope so anyway!)

The party is on here - big time. Had fruit salad a la champagne and am now starting with the coctails - Singapore Sling is on the table. Friday is not going to be an easy day - heavy head. Have to go back to Tuesday being the best day of the week.

OMG OMG OMG Did you just say Singapore Slings!? That is my FAVORITE drink on the planet. Most people never know what the hell I'm talking about since it's considered such an old-school drink. I've even had to give the recipe to rookie bartenders. Mommy...you just made my week.
