awwwww when i see stuff like this on TV it makes me think that he is gone but somethin inside me is saying that he isn't.

All eyes will be on the show's opening since Janet will perform a musical tribute.

I bet she will drop clues at the rate that those gloves fell from the sky.

To date, I haven't seen anything that I would classify as a tribute.

Hopefully MTV will do it properly since they exist primarily because of him. I wouldn't mind if they started calling the award trophy...the "Michael".

This is a nice promo. I know without a doubt that Janet will do an awesome job with her Tribute to MJ. She's right up there with him in performance. Keep the Faith!

that was a great promo vid! made me kinda hopeful...i'm sure janet will do an awesome job; she always does!

Oh I can't wait to see it!!!! The only person who could do Michael justice as a tribute would be Janet. Lord knows Jermaine sure can't!

I stopped the vid at 0:47 seconds. Looks like there's a black sillouette of a joker/jester. (The shot is when the couple are looking out the window.)

That's strange, "...begins exactly at 9:00."

Reminds me of the "burial": "...will start at 7:00 p.m. " sharp or something like that... ?

I looked at that part again. It appears to be part of a business window sign. I was trying to figure out what type of business. I could only make out the word bake and the first letters of what appears to be crum.

Odd indeed. Why add that caveat? Is it to make sure that we all catch the much -taked about show opening?

I watched it a few times myself. Look again. when the camera shows this couple and they're inside, behind the door, the writing is on the glass but there is no jester/joker figure. It is only there when this couple is looking out the glass....

I love that promo vid - the sequined gloves falling from the sky, the "Long may he reign".... Very nice touch. I can't wait to see Janet's performance - she's very talented and she's IMO the only one who could do justice to her brother's songs.

Since I discovered this, I've been trying to come up w/ a scenario....

Perhaps it's Janet just hinting to us.

hm actually i really dont like hearing Michael songs being performed by anyone else but him- not matter if its Janet , his other brothers/sisters or Fergie, will.i.am or whoever...not matter how hard they try its just not good enough

Rumor has it that...Janet will be using a hologram during the opening performance.

I wonder if they will perform Scream together for old times sake. It would be an appropriate "middle finger" message to all MJ critics.

so maybe that's why the tribute was delayed again.the "hologram" was busy with vma's rehearsals

i don't pay attention to any mtv award show for a long time but tomorrow i will not miss it i can't wait for the performance, i think Janet will give us the hints we need right now

I like that..... 'the "hologram" was busy.' I also like the idea of them doing Scream to give it to the media. I haven't watched te VMAs in a very long time, but I think I maybe tuning in tomorrow night.
