Hat-man / Fedora-Man

On the Fedora-Site, there's speculation about Hat-man (aka Fedora-Man, because of the hat) being this man:

He was responsible for the make-up and special fx for MJ's Thriller-video. I must admit, that in the Memorial-footage it can't be seen, because he keeps his head down most of the time. But in the Burial-footage his face can be seen much better. Being a make-up/sfx-guy he could pull this off in my opinion. EDIT: he also worked on MJ's Ghosts and Captain EO!

Yeah, I looked up more pics and compared and I'm 100% positive it's him at the burial. Like Housewife said, he went through wuite some trouble, making sure his face was seen.
Just not sure about the memorial. Face is different there.

I think that there were 2 Hatmans..one at memorial, a different one at burial. I agree that Rich Baker was probably 'burial hatman' but I don't think that he was 'memorial hatman' because memorial hatman was 'thinner' and had 'skinnier fingers' than Mr. Baker.

Don't know if it's fully debunked. Allthough Hat-man at the memorial-service has the characteristics of hat-man at the burial. His face and the shape/size of his head is different. I have no idea how to prove this, so I'm hoping housewife (at fedora-forum) can come up with some evidence for this. Then again...the guy did make-up and sfx for Thriller, Ghosts and Captain EO and Michael said about him, that those jobs were NOTHING (as in piece of cake) for this guy, so I reckon he'd be able to create some confusion about him at the memorial and burial. Time will tell I guess...I hope.
