At the beginning it doesn´t sound to me as MJ AT ALL! Sound more like the O2 guy. But the end I do recognize his sound. ODD!!

This is one of the reasons I think "This Is It" is exploiting people. As I said many times, there is more than one Michael in that movie. I think the above proves it.

Maybe it's because it's just a rehearsal. No one gives their all during rehearsal.

We are soooooo twins on this! Try as I may I cannot fathom how that is Michael. The mannerisms are all wrong for a start.

IMO, it looks like this rehersal guy is trying really hard to copy
Michael's moves. Like he is trying real hard..it doesn't look like the
moves are natural-I hope that makes sense.

I realize it's been
awhile since MJ has performed, but IMO performing would be natural to
him, he wouldn't have to try. He has a way with moving with the music
and at least to me, it doens't seem like that in this clip.

That's the words that I was looking for : He knows how to work the stage. I agree that even at 51 he would be able to work it. He spent more than half his life on a stage. He was comfortable on one. Didn't he say that he always felt at home on the stage? That if he could he would sleep there?

Yes I believe he did say something along those lines. I can't put my finger on what is wrong but my instinct is telling me it's NOT him. I don't know Michael personally so I can't say for sure that he has changed so much since the last tour. However, I have watched countless hours of footage from the "Bad", "Dangerous" and "HIStory" tours and I will bet my life this isn't the same man.

I know age slows us down etc etc but Michael is the man and wouldn't have agreed to do TII (assuming he did of course and it wasn't a movie all along) if he wasn't up to the same standards as he was "back in the day".

Wow...This video is interesting and confusing! This man certainly does NOT move like MJ, and hardly sounds like him. However I do agree that at the end of the vid I do begin to recognize his voice a bit. Hmm...I am confused! I agree with you nlb and Rach though, this man does NOT know how to work the stage and we all know that is something MJ is damn good at!

Okay! I'm glad I'm not alone on this! I am so sorry but there is no way I think That is our Michael Jackson. From the moment the video starts there is an odd feeling to it. I too will take notes to later compare! @ Aam, girl Im just as confused as you are about the voice it could have also been a playback?

Good point Banessa, I guess it could've easily been a voice-over! Especially since most of us can agree those are not MJ's moves!

@Annie- Thank you for that, I couldn't put my finger on it but now that you mentioned that I think I know what you mean. It's like the moves are exaggerated.

Lets not forget that when Michael's "death" was announced people were saying he was singing and dancing his heart out.

Not to be rude but it doesn't look like that to me judging by this clip. It looks like he was in the trailer but if this is all a movie they have had a long time to plan it and make it looks right. This footage looks more candid than professional like the rest.

I'm in agreement with you guys...I'm finding it quite hard to believe that this is our Michael. Regardless of age or him not having performed in a while, IMO, I don't think he could ever lose that on stage "magic".

This is an odd video!

The first Michael(the one in black) moves a little odd and the way he act...it's like he was selected for an audition...

But the second Michael, (wearing gold jacket and red pants) is MJ!

To me are not the same! Is the second Michael I saw in the TII is the real one, IMO! His moves are smoother!

I don't know what to think! I just can't wait to see the movie!

Is the word you are looking for metrosexual? No offense or disrespect meant at all, but its the first thing I thought of after seeing that and reading your post, Annie...

For some reason I don't think it's the real thing either...even though he wasn't quite yet 51 back then, he only turned 51 in late august remember But anyway, I really doubt that it's the real MJ in that video. Doesn't really sound like him or move like him IMO. And That's exactly what I meant when I said that I don't think the trailer showed us the "real" Michael much at all. I have no idea what's going on to be honest,but I'm pretty sure that the movie will just have a few impersonators(or many who knows!) but not much or at all of the real Michael Jackson. He was 50 years old at the time yes...but this guy just doesn't really have the same magical stage presence especially of a performer who has been working since he was 5! And Michael even used to say that the stage was the safest place for him, the only place where he felt really comfortable.But It's kind of hard to tell from such a short clip though, will just have to wait and see when the actual movie comes out. And one other thing that also weirds me out a bit is that he seems to be wearing sunglasses ALL the time! He doesn't want to show his eyes for some reason...maybe because his eyes are one of Michael's most recognizable features. The same thing was with the imposter who announced the "This is it" tour in London, he was also wearing those HUGE sunglasses the whole time so we couldn't see his eyes. Now If we could see his eyes then it would be much easier to see if he's the real guy or not.

We didnt really see that much. I just watched it on a news site from Denmark. OMG! I almost fell down my bed. He is running around on stage, he makes a huge jump, where he turns around in the air or something. He does he`s beatboxing, everything.. That was AMAZING... I just watched 1:20 with it, what we have seen is just 30 seconds. MY GOD! I cant believe he did that. Its AMAZING!! Im going to the movies to see it, when it comes out, Im not going to miss out on this..

I have watched the human nature song rehearsal and i must to say that this is totally not michael, he sounds OFF pitch and MJ has great vocals mj do not sound off pitch cause when he makes a mistake in the song he will stop and re do it iver he is a perfectionist.
this guiy is trying to dance and sing like MJ but he is not mj at all

also remember that the promoters said that MJ would only sing about 10 minutes each concert show and the rest of the show would be carried out by look alikes / doubles.

so i think everything was already planned in advance because they surely filmed the whole rehearsal with professional cameras not some cheap $ 2 stolen amateur camera.
i think it cost them about 27 $ million dollars to produce the whole thing.

and by the way they plan on grossing about $ 1 billion for the movie ( rehearsal )

and also the guy who owns AEG also owns 7000 movies theaters worldwide and the movie will be distributed thru his theaters.


i think this movies is full of look alikes none of them is MJ

And we might see mj appear only once in this whole movie and for 2 seconds only because remember what RANDY PHILLIPS said that MJ lazy and was barely showing up for rehearsal. which means that he was replaced by look alikes.

Some of them are well known but some of them were left in the shadow on purpose for more impressive work of stand in.

Well to be fair Michael is not exactly one of the most steretypically "masculine" guys there is you know. LOL! Definitely not...Which is exactly one of the reasons why I like him so much....

For me this is not MJ. The movements fit for me not to 100%. I think the
motion for MJ strange. Something bothers me. I find the legs too thin.
I've watched the video several times ... And as always, I am confused.

That was so uncomfortable for me to watch, he looked so thin....

I saw this yesterday on Oprah. I had to rewind a few times and I even looked away from the TV while it played so I could listen better and it doesnt sound like him. The moves he does are a little strange too. What in the wide world of sports is going on?

It doesnt even look like him, but then again there we go with the sunglasses. I think sunglasses are a good cover up if youre trying to hide something.

Not dissing Mj, but something is STEE-RANGE about this vid.

I do know that dancers dont give it their all during rehearsals.....they do that on purpose.

The video is a REHEARSAL video so it is possible that the were just got some ideas on how he was gonna preform that is what you have with rehearsals and stuff you can change things you dont like

BTW in holland the are showing the video a bigger version and he sounds FANTASTIC and he is just rehearsing and the people who present the shwo said wow he looks amazing.
In the longer version if you can see it somewere(im gonna look for it) you can see he is just rehearsing so if it doesnt look so perfect so what
