@MJ i'm not an expert on David Gest but he was married to Liza Minneli for a while, he's good friends with the Jacksons and was on U.K. TV i'm a celebrity get me out of here. I think he's a producer or something - this part i'm not sure of!!!

Oh ok. Cause I saw the video the other day and had no idea who he was. I still don´t get how he could be so close to them, he just says he met them when he was 15 and was practically raised by Katherine.

I'm thinking this had to be sometime in 2001 or 2002....
Only reason I say that is because, when she asked when was the last time she had seen him, she said, "right before Sept 11, Sept 10" ANd Michaels show NEW YORK was Sep 10, 2001.
And he was there with his then wife Liza Minelli.

This was filmed before June 25th. I'm guessing he's the son of Liza Minelli's ex.

David Gest is quite an important figure in Michael's life, a long time real friend.
