MJ to direct movie
I found this article about MJ directing a movie. More than I believing in MJ giving clues or returning in "This is it" movie, I was thinking about how this article was more related to someone or some organization trying to avoid MJ from having control over that medium. His lyrics were tremendously powerful, imagine how his movies would be...

Let me explain:
Three months before his death, Michael Jackson committed to co-directing and financing a movie — a poignant drama about foster children — and planned to get started as soon as he completed his London concerts. Maybe this wasn't going to be the biggest hit in Hollywood, but it will sure have an impact in some members of our society.
In 2003 the producer arranged a three-hour meeting in a Universal City hotel between Jackson and Mel Gibson, who besides being an actor is a producer and partner in Icon Prods.
Jackson wasn’t interested in making a blockbuster. “He wanted to do movies the Academy would like,” Stoller recalled. Michael didn't just want a direct DVD release....he wanted something that would, like I said earlier, have an impact on the viewers and reach theaters?
When Jackson was indicted on child molestation charges shortly after its release, Blockbuster pulled the film from its shelves.
They Cage the Animals also was affected by the molestation charges, Stoller said.
Icon signed a deal to develop the project with a budget of US$12-million to US$20-million, according to Stoller, who was paid by Icon to write the screenplay. A couple of months later, when Jackson was indicted in Santa Barbara, Calif., Icon dropped the project, and Gibson stopped returning Stoller’s phone calls. There were news reports in 2005 that Icon had dropped the project. Jackson lost contact with Stoller for about two years during the period when the singer was on trial. See? Someone definitely didn't want MJ to have negotiations about a movie, especially not with Gibson (remember the controversy on Gibson's movie "The Passion of the Christ"?).
Ok I don't know if I'm reading too much between the lines, or if my thoughts on MJ's "death" affect my views on this article. But, really, someone tried to bring MJ to his knees, and they couldn't. They tried three times, if that isn't succesful, well lets just threaten him or kill him. Of course, I believe Michael was more than brilliant to let these ppl just kill him...
What do you guys think?

Re: MJ to direct movie
Well I personally don't believe anyone tried to kill MJ.
They may have wanted to avoid working with him due to the court case but not everyone wanted to kill MJ.

Re: MJ to direct movie
Well not everyone wanted to kill him, of course. He did leave messages saying he feared for his life. And maybe the movie topic isnt directly tied to someone who wanted to kill him, but I do believe all these molestation charges were fabricated to distract him from his career (including directing movies) which brought a message to the world.

Re: MJ to direct movie
Entertainers are supposed to entertain. They are not supposed to forget their place and aspire for more. Popular entertainers can influence the masses through their craft. If they are allowed to graduate frrom entertainer to industry executive, they would influence even more. Only a select few have been allowed into the secret club. Michael would not be one to get an invitation.

Re: MJ to direct movie
@MJ I agree completely about the molestation charges, that was a conspiracy to stop him from moving forward with his career.
@girlsaturday I agree with you.
Unfortunately it's a twisted world we live in.
