Brilliant, thanks for sharing, sounds really good and cant wait to hear it all. Makes you wonder about the title "this is it" though eh? I think he knew what was to come and it was all planned. What a title of song to be the very last one.

Re: Firt 42 seconds of THIS IS IT!
I just read somewhere yesterday that "This Is It" was actually recorded in 1991. Here is the excerpt and link for the whole story:
"This Is It," which Rolling Stone reports was recorded during the sessions for Jackson's 1991 album Dangerous, will appear on the album in two versions. The collection will end with the recorded version of the song — which plays during the closing sequence of the movie — as well as an orchestral version, both previously unreleased. Another rarity, the recently discovered spoken word poem, "Planet Earth," will also be featured on the collection."
http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1623517/20091009/jackson_michael.jhtml
So does this contribute to the theory that this has all been in the works for awhile?

I love the song... his voice sounds a bit different in the begining, anyone else thinks the same?
Still I absolutely love it and I can't wait to hear the whole song.
About the Planet Earth - how can it be "recently discovered"? I have it in the booklet of my Dangerous album (special edition).
Unless the recording was "recently discovered"?

You have it spoken by MJ? Or just written? - Planet Earth I mean.
I'm getting the feeling, more and more, that this so called "new" This is it CD has really nothing new on it. Most songs are old, and This is it, we just heard is not so new either and now the poem,...
Smells like just another money scam again...God, these people won't get enough!!!

Re: Firt 42 seconds of THIS IS IT!
I Like this.
Sounds like Old School Michael.
Doesnt sound like the voice on INvincible.
His voice has matured over the years.
I mean he still of course can sound like he did years ago but thi one sounds really young.
MICHAEL is amazing period.
2 MORE DAYS til this is released. WOO HOO

Re: Firt 42 seconds of THIS IS IT!
I agree that `Planet Earth' is on the back page of the literature of the Dangerous album. Everytime I buy his CDs, I always read the dedication of Michael to everybody on the last page, to give me an info on who he worked with.
So, what I did just now, I got my Dangerous CD and checked 'Planet Earth', and because I am missing Michael I went to the acknowledgement page again and read of which I know already from reading it again and again from the past.
SOMETHING caught my eyes and I don't know if it will mean anything but it did sure flipped my eyelids. Here is what's written:
"SPECIAL EDITION CREDITS
Album recorded in Los Angeles from first
session at Ocean Way/Record One Studio 2,
on Monday, June 25, 1990.
through last day of album mix-down at
Larrabee North and Ocean Way Studios on
Tuesday, October 29, 1991."
Pleassse tell me if you had a strange feeling inside upon reading it or my mind is just KAPOOT.

Re: Firt 42 seconds of THIS IS IT!
It was written in 1980, so I doubt he had planned his hoax death way back then. Are they saying it was recorded in 1991? His voice sounds really young to me in this song.

Yes, someone brought that up a while ago, I can't remember the title of the thread, I will try and find it. If I'm not mistaken, it was part of a very elaborate and convincing theory, it was discussed for a while. Will post the link to that thread if I manage to find it!Anyone else remembers?
Well, we know when Planet Earth was first published, but we don't know when it was recorded...
So you guys think 'This Is It?' was recorded back in 1991? How can you be so sure? It's not so obvious to me...Someone here has said that they think his voice sounds a bit different here. The very first line, 'this is it', that sounds a bit strange to me, something in his voice when he sings these three words bothers me slightly, but can't quite put my finger on it. Well, the quality of this file is not great, maybe we just need to wait and hear the full version...

It creeps me out that all this info is being read that contain key words in the hoax...such as dates etc. And then I think I've found another clue.
I was reading an article written in 1994 about the Jordan Chandler case and found this:
"This magazine has learned that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration is probing another aspect of Torbiner’s business practices: He makes housecalls to administer drugs—mostly morphine and Demerol—not only postoperatively to his dental patients but also, it seems, to those suffering pain whose source has nothing to do with dental work. He arrives at the homes of his clients—some of them celebrities—carrying a kind of fishing-tackle box that contains drugs and syringes. At one time, the license plate on his Jaguar read “SLPYDOC.” According to Jones, Torbiner charges $350 for a basic
ten-to-twenty-minute visit. In what Jones describes as standard practice, when it’s unclear how
long Torbiner will need to stay, the client, anticipating the stupor that will soon set in, leaves a blank check for Torbiner to fill in with the appropriate amount."
Torbiner is a dentist who administered sodium Amytal to Jordan Chandler while only him and his father were in the room. The drug is supposed to be a "truth serum" but we now know that a person is highly suggestible under it and can have untrue ideas placed in their head simply by being asked a question on the matter. That is how Jordan first spoke of the allegations against MJ.
But back to my point. Torbiner would break the rules of his practice, go to people's homes, and administer the powerful drugs, morphine and demerol. Morphine? Demerol? In a home? Are these not some keywords in MJ's "death?" Am I the only one freaking out about how many clues MJ is giving us?

Yes, I agree. I cannot be just a coincidence.
I never had heard about the above info. Very interesting...
I wonder who exactly this Torbiner person is ??
