Re: Shocking differences....
But look at all of the family making money off his 'death' right now. It's really disgusting to watch. The reality series? The new tribute Jermaine wants to do? Joe talking about his record label? I think Katherine and Janet are the only ones not making money off the after-math of their family member's death. (well except for Katherine inheritance of course..)

I know-it is sad and disgusting and confusing-and so freaking obvious. That is what has fans (and not just us) in an uproar. They are making themselves a laughingstock. I vented about Jermaine a little in my last note-did you get my p.m.?

Re: Shocking differences....
No I can't say I did get your p.m.
But ya they're so obvious about it and it makes it that much worse.
Makes you think, are they actually upset about his death, or happy that they can ride off his popularity now?
May sound terrible, but from my understanding.. Michael wasn't that close with all of his brothers/sisters later on in life.

And go figure she's the one not making money off of him.
Makes me sick just thinking about it.

Re: Shocking differences....
Lee, I love you so much for starting this thread
It
is painfully obvious that there are major differences when you put
things side by side. I said to my Mum the other day, I have never known
of a celebrity death where things have taken so many twists and turns.
It just doesn't add up whichever way you look at it.
I watched
the live coverage of Stephen's funeral on Sky News on Saturday and you
could hear the pain in Ronan Keating's voice. His pain was raw and not
to sound nasty, real.
I also love how you brough Louis into
the equation and how he couldn't even do the X Factor because of how
sad he was. I don't want to bring his all up again, but the day after
wasn't Catherine shopping at "Target"?
Considering how close he was supposed to be to his mum, i can't understand how she could be out shopping and not sitting at home in a total mess, its not normal.
Nothing about his funeral is normal at all. I also can't understand why Diana Ross was not at the private ceremony, the memorial or the funeral, they were extremely close.
Liz Taylor wasn't at the private ceremony or memorial either - she only turned up to the burial.
Real friends would be up there giving speeches like Ronan Keating did, because thats what normal people are compelled to do when someone close to them dies.
I can't understand the way his family and friends have acted and as i've said all along, that's the only clue you're ever going to need to prove something is up.
Luv u 2!
Re: Shocking differences....
Liz Taylor-mmmm I have always thought she knows something. I have always wondered if Diana Ross was a friend in the same calibur or if she was just more like his hero/idol.

I'm not too sure, but they've been friends since he was 5 or 6 years old. You'd think she'd make an effort to go to the funeral of a friend she's had for 45 years!
Re: Shocking differences....
Heck yes she should have-even if they were not super close now-he gave alot of honor to her. That is one of the first things I noticed (and that Liz was not saying anything).

I don't know what to make of the DR business. I just read in a book that they actually had a falling out years ago but yet he names her as back-up guardian for his children? Since she wasn't at any of the "events" I would go with the falling-out theory but the guardianship doesn't make sense if that were true.

Actually I´m reading parts of "The Magic and The Madness" By Taborelli and according to that book, MJ sent Liz some tickets for his show. And he thought he sent her nice tickets (VIP) but she was furious and went home. She didn´t want to sit there because she couldn´t see anything. After the concert Mj´s people told him she´d gone home That´s how they "met", even if they didn´t that night. He went home and phoned her the next day and they straightened it out.
Maybe it´s not a reliable source but it´s a funny story though
EDIT: Oops, sorry I realize now you mean Diana Ross. Sorry

Re: Shocking differences....
I wonder what they would have had a falling out about? Maybe professionaly? If that ,he may still would trust her with the kids...of course I wondered about that whole deal because of her age. OR MAYBE IT WAS ONLY THERE IN THE WILL BECAUSE HE IS"NT GONE_LOL

Re: Shocking differences....
Ok maybe I am crazy but I just have this weird feeling that he could be "hiding in plain site" so to speak. I haven't seen anyone covering the family's Hayvenhurst home since the night of the burial and his kids are there. As much as it disgust me to say, I would think the media would attempt to be all over those children and basically surrounding the home just to catch a glimpse. Yet, when we do see the children, i.e. the trip out with Liz, there is someone there who we think could be MJ! Is it even remotely possible, or have I completely lost my mind, that with the size of the Encino home, MJ could be there with his family and not away from his children at all like we all suspect? As I have said before, this is just pure speculation and trying to think outside of the box so please don't beat me up too badly.

After reading that, it almost seems like the ppl close to Michael did not like him at all...
And seeing how the family has acted... It's just like they are relieved that he is gone!
