lonelynation, at the period we were investigating the "bed scene" of those UK tabloids and every day TMZ invented five new stories around who did what when and why, I invented a story about the "lizard-sushi-last meal" for Harvey just to point out how easy a ridiculous story could be set up.
We knew they were lurking and copying from what we found out. So I thought maybe they would copy that one for the next sensation gossip.

Not true of course this thingie of mine as so many things were just not true. Harvey unfortunately would not print it to date - which is a pity since all and everything was fitting well ... ;-) You want it? Here we go (2009/08/04):

unknown name, a pic of some lizard hunted in the yard and the “prove utterance”

could help”, 5 paparazzi scan their pic archives to find a proof that MJ did in
fact like lizards, the skin doc gets into interviews and under suspect, the
kids are on focus whether they behave normal in the presence of lizards, the
cook gets into an official intervention, all cookbooks are being confiscated
and all items of the kitchen are being removed in order to find DNA of killed
lizards,


and finally, oh
wonder, a pic appears that shows a dish with a tail of somewhat sushi on the
table aside of a bed claiming “His last meal”.




Geeee, it's so easy to fool the masses.

I just saw the video that goes with that article and there's a point where someone asked about the "saw" mask and who that was..and Mike was kinda getting nervous and seemed like he was trying hard to explain what that was about...he looked like he was trying t come up with a good "explanation" somewhere around 8:45

Looked the same for me, too and then he came up with that "actor" explanation..

Wouldn't it have made more sense for it to say MJ's kids and not MJ and his kids if MJ was indeed not really there? Just a thought!

They got correction comments on that article but it seems they are in no hurry to correct anything.

I think they put this there to see who will pick up on it, test the waters see what peoples reactions are to it!

You would think that with all of the editors they have that a "misprint" such as this would not have gone unnoticed.

And I can't decide how I feel about the fact that it hasn't been edited.
Maybe they really just did an honest mistake? I don't know.

I think that this so called misprint along with the fact that Geraldo discussed balloon boy as another hoax and has now scrubbed everything MJ from his website speaks volumes.

Maybe he was just getting heat for it?

I never looked at his site but I remember the first show he did after MJ died he went through all the possible scenarios/cause of death including murder on his TV show. He kept up coverage until about 2 mos ago and now no mention whatsoever. Find that strange.

Not that I want to debunk my own post... but TMZ could have meant they wanted to talk about "MJ, and his kids at Halloween night with Liz Taylor"....that would just be a comma typo. You know, separate subjects. I'm still holding onto it being a clue though.

I don't know.. I think because it's such a sticky subject they'd want to be sure, but who knows.

Did anyone watch the actual video? Was there a part specifically on MJ, then one on his kids.. if so, it's most likely a legitimate typo on TMZ's behalf.
