I was just on YouTube looking for the announcement Jermaine made the day Michael "died" and a related video came up with Geraldo having a "world exclusive" conversation with Katherine on August 2nd. I'm listening to it and you might think I'm crazy for saying this but does she or does she not sound a LOT like Michael? Please have a listen for yourself, and please REALLY listen to it before you just write me off as crazy. Even if you have to listen to the first video more than once. CLOSE YOUR EYES WHILE LISTENING TO THE FIRST VIDEO. Thanks

As you can tell from the 2nd video, sweet little Katherine's voice is much softer than the one having the phone conversation with Geraldo. If you close your eyes and listen to the first vid, you can just picture Michael. This brings me to another point: I forget who brought it up a few days ago on the forum about Geraldo claiming he had been punked by someone and a lot of us were speculating he was talking about Michael. He removed all Michael related topics/references from his website, remember? Well i'm wondering, maybe this could be part of the reason? If you watch the beginning of the first clip, Geraldo is extremely excited about getting this "world exclusive" interview with Katherine. He probably later discovered it was Michael and felt betrayed or "punk'd", thus, taking Michael off of his website. It's just a thought but the first video to me really sounds like Michael trying to sound like a woman.

Now you might say "Why would Michael pretend to be his mother?" Well think about this, Katherine is a Jehovah's Witness as we discussed many times before they don't like to lie and they don't like to be apart of media type situations. If Michael is playing "Katherine" she doesnt have to get involved, saying "My son is dead" when she knows he isn't probably is not something that she wanted to do.

What do you guys think?

I heard that phone interview with Geraldo and Katherine quite awhile ago. I don't really think it sounds like MJ. Just my opinion though.

well, voices seem to be different. But it can be a telephone distortion to her voice.
But in the second video her voice seems to be softier than in the first video.
Michael really have a hability to disguise his voice, but I don´t know what to think at all.

In the second video she is also about 25 years younger.

Is definately Katherine, they are bound to sound similar as Michael has a sweet soft voice for a guy. I also think LaToya and Janet sound similar to their Mother.

well..i don't know but maybe because they're connected...like me and my mom, people, even my dad thought me and my mom have the same voice, especially on the phone. my friends thought my mom is me, and her friends and my dad thought i am her.

I noticed that, too HUMAN_NATURE. I had to play it back to be sure I got her tenses right.

yes I noticed the present tense too.

On the phone the voices are a little distorted. After my opinion, it was Mrs. Katherine on phone. Please don't forget she is a mother and a mother cannot play her emotions when it's about her child's death. Not Mrs. Katherine who is a very religious person too.

I don't hear Michael's voice on the phone...I'm pretty sure it's Katherine. I guess it could be Rebbie though, but as far as I know she's just as devout. I think Janet looks so much like her mother...all the women in that family are gorgeous!

don't be mad.....if you're talking about the intonation, i agree when i closed my eyes, she does sounds like mike, but, again, they were connected, he was the son, she was the mother, so, in anyways, there could be similarities in their way of speaking...

I said about Geraldo saying he was punk'd and I agree with your thoughts on that. I think he was mad when he realized they got him. His tone reminds me of the time in the 80s when he had the exclusive on Al Capone's vault and he hyped it as being full of treasure and it was EMPTY. He knows he's been had.

Yes. I showed my mother the videos and she told me that maybe it´s not her. But it´s a feminine voice. So maybe Janet or La Toya, Rebbie is too religious to take part on it.
So don´t be mad.
Maybe it´s not MJ but the voice is really something different from his mother.

Hmm think so too

it sounds a bit like Michael yes But yeah I agree with you guys, they were connected. Maybe it was one of the women of the Jackson family, I don't know.
