Kirk Franklin.....Anyone?

Has anyone heard of Kirk Franklin?
I was just on YT.. searching for the This is it single.. and I came across Kirk Franlin's song called: " Declaration (This is it)
Anyway... it seems to me there's a link between him and Michael Jackson..

I'm NOT sure if this could be any link at all.. I just find it odd.. that someone says these kind of things... does anyone know why he would sing this type of song

Yea I kno Kirk Franklin he's a sex addicted gospel singer but I love three of his songs! He's been around for some years.

I havent heard kirk on a while-I used to listen to him alot when I was young(GP years) but honestly just the word "This is It" in any song makes us look -especially when it is a new or recent song! Maybe he was thinkin of MJ when he wrote it? Kirk has sang with many non Gospel recording artists.

@wannabe-He WAS sex addicted-he was delivered...all ppl have had probs.

Plus, Kirk sampled TII by Kenny Loggins for this song.

i thought i saw somewhere (maybe on here before)where the kenny loggins song/lyrics were discussed before and etc. i cant be sure but,i could have sworn i did and it does sound as if this person was writing in regards to michael,i could be reaching again but,its a nice feel LOL

I was browsing through different artists then I found that Kenny Loggins single is out which is entitled This Is It.

No, Kirk hasn't made anything new recently. Yes, he came out a few years back. I don't know what the connection could be between his song Declaration when he samples Kenny Loggins TII. Kirk is known for sampling secular music for his gospel songs. Most traditional Christians don't care for his music because they think he is a stone throws way from being in the world. He appeals to the younger Christian population. @wannabe you are absolutely right when you say all ppl have problems.
Also, you are right about him confessing publicly that he was was addicted to sex (pornography). He did repent and I am sure God forgave him. Alot of well known leaders in the Christian community have fallen at one point in time. It's human nature as far as I am concerned. For example, Paula White of the church in FL known as Without Walls (I believe) announced to her congregation last year that she was divorcing her second husband Randy. She didn't give them any explanation. It was rumored that she was involved with another pastor from San Antonio, TX. She is still preaching and has a televised show that comes on every morning on TBN. All, I can say is nobody's perfect in this world. Keep the Faith!

I just want to say that I have no idea who Kirk Franklin is, BUT...I've had the following on my "profile" on Twitter for a few months:

.... Just wish I could "enlighten" others in a concise way.....

I wish that there was a "guest list" available or at the least more paparazzi photos.

I am still quite intrigued by the "celebrities" who chose to attend in comparison to those who chose to NOT attend. In much the same way that we all have examined the attendees and no-shows at the Memorial & Burial, I would absolutely love to do the same for the Premier.
