The decoy has fooled us for so long because a) he looks like Michael and b) Navi is touted at the best MJ decoy - who, lets be honest, doesn't look like MJ and has thus lowered our expectations.

To me the thing that gives away the lookalike is the TOP LIP. If you look at the pictures we know are MJ, the top lip when he smiles is totally different then the top lip of the O2 guy.

I dont look at the nose too much because if Dr. K was trying to rebuild his nose with Restalyn (sp) or another top of filler, that could account for the difference in the bridge of his nose, but the shape of his top lip? Thats what really gets me PLUS the O2 guy has regular caucasion skin tone, something Michael even at his lightest didn't have.

Caucasion have varying undertone colors, pink, yellow, red, olive ect. Michaels skin tone seemed white with a yellow undertone. The O2 guy to me, seems to have a pinkish undertone to his skin.

You can really the differences with the pictures blown up as big as they are. IDK, it just drives me crazy, and if this really was MJ at the Press Conference, why did he wear shades? The only interviews I have seen of Michael wearing shades was way back in the Thriller, History Days, but after that he never had shades on, at least not that I remember.

There is no way to replicate Michaels eyes with plastic surgery, and thats why I think the O2 guy wore the shades.

If at the end of all this, there is a part of the THIS IS IT movie that contains a scene from the O2 press conference, and the real Michael faces the camera and takes off his shades to reveal to us that it really was him, I will be in total shock.

OMG!

OK, after I posted my last reply above, I scrolled back up to the BIG PIC of the O2 Michael.

If you concentrate on the EYES BEHIND THE SHADES YOU CAN SEE THEM! But you have to look with a bright light on the screen.

IF we COULD BLOW UP THIS PICTURE EVEN BIGGER so we could see the eyes a little but better, BUT From what I can see of those eyes?? They are NOT THE SAME shape as Michaels EYES!! Please try to look and see for yourself.

We could also try to measure the distance between the EYES of the O2 guy and the Real Michael, because I can see behind the shades where the inner corners of his eyes are, so maybe we can get a ratio ...

Please tell me that you can see his eyes too!

I am sooooooo confused now. Ok, I remember the impostor story and the long discussion on MJHD about how MJ used a decoy (different palm lines, voice, complexion, accent, bla, bla bla). Then, some time later I returned here and MJHD to discover the wrist story and statements like "c'mon, it was MJ at O2, no doubt about it" and so on. Yes, I am very confused and can't stop thinking about it. GEEEEZ! To me the O2 guy doesn't look MJ...I am lost!! Rolling Eyes

I looked closely at this eyes .. you're right ... that is a impersonator !!!!! the eyes are slanted down ward not up .... !!!!

You know guys I have been saying for ages that O2 man wasn't Michael but after looking at that picture I'm not so sure.

Look at his nose and the surgery scars on the side.

Rachel, I know, I have gone back and forth on this over and over, but I think the evidence against it being MJ outweights the evidence that it was. The voice, mannerisms, the shape of the head, the accent, the walk ect - But what really struck me was seeing the eyes BEHIND the shades, something I never saw before I looked at the picture blown up the way it is here. You can really see them and they are smaller then Michaels eyes to - Michaels eyes were very round - See if you can see what I can see behind the shades?

When I look at the O2 mans nose, it almost looks like putty or something - You know, with a good make up artist that knows how to do prosthetics, they could probably come close to Michaels nose. Remember the way they re-did his face in Ghost - so what if they got the nose on the O2 guy as close as possible, and then covered the eyes with shades?

Well, I think the noses ARE different if U examine them carefully. Obviously, the O2 guy must have had some nose jobs, hence the scars. They seem quite fresh...but i am not sure

Also, one last thing. The pic of Michael leaving the hotel looks like MJ, the pic of the O2 guy in the minibus doesnt look like the same person. Look at the TOP LIP. He is smiling in both pictures, but the line on the top lip of the O2 man looks perfect and smooth compared to the pic of MJ leaving the hotel.

Also, the Real MJ (leaving the hotel) has the paragraph lines around his smile, which is natural for his age - The O2 guys skin is smooth as a baby even though he is smiling really wide.

@ Cantstoplovingyou - I agree with you about the laugh lines around the mouth. One minute they are there and the next minute they aren't? Freaky!

Maybe it's because it's late in the UK but I can't see any eyes under the sunglasses. However I will have a look later with fresh eyes and see if I can see and let you know!!!

Everyone, if you all will recall MJ had his face replicated with masks. The masks looked exactly like he did. I am sure the decoys used them over the years to get as close to looking like him as possible. That's why to the average person it's so difficult to distinguish between the real MJ and a decoy. Remember! MJ was not present at every social event he always used decoys when he felt like it. Keep the Faith!

I've been studying michael's smile all day today and something that I've noticed-even since his off the wall days-when he smile you only see the top row of his teeth-kinda like he bites his bottom lip a little-and if you see his bottom row of teeth, you only see a little, he doesn't do giant both row smiles like the 02 guy...im serious, look at pics of the REAL mj smiling...

That is so true! I just spent time looking up dozens of pictures and the ONLY ones with him flashing both rows of all his teeth are the O2 pics. That is another GREAT point.

Please when those of you read this, when you have fresh eyes, try to light your monitor well and look at the big picture close up above and you can see the eyes BEHIND the shades. I can see them even without a light shining onto my screen - You have to CONCENTRATE on the EYES BEHIND the shades, DO NOT look at the shades themselves. Just stare at the eyes and you will see them.

Maybe if someone here is handy with these pictures they can grab the part of the picture that contains only the shades and eyes and make it even bigger to give us a better view.

YES I see what you mean. Its almost like the O2 mans face was sculpted to look like MJ but they went overboard. Huge difference there too. I have to check out the Jesse Jackson Decoy again

The guy leaving the hotel does not look like the guy at O2. O2 guy has a very smooth face when he smiles where as the MJ leaving the hotel has cheeks the kinda puff out. The teeth are different to, Mj leaving the hotel has a smile that has a slight over bite(possible) while O2 MJ does not have that.

My opinion.. IMPOSTER @ O2:D

The MJ leaving the hotel is MJ, the O2 in the Minibus is NOT MJ.

Too many descrepancies. The mouth says it all. The O2 man -> There are no laugh lines, no little "c's" at the corners of his mouth -> his face is too smooth -> he shows 2 rows of teeth -> and from what I can see of his eyes behind the shades - they dont match.

I lightened the glasses... the eyes look like they have been made to look like Michael's, but like other members say, the eyes just under close scrutiny do not MATCH (and as my mum puts it, they are too 'almond-shaped', lol she really needs to create an account, she'd love the Bad Girl thread! Ha!)

Also, that chin is just heinously long. Look at the first two pictures. Look at the U shaped mark on his dimple... which hasn't changed in 2009 at the conference.

The wig looks shiny and just looks as my mum says, 'Nylon-y'. Heh, I have to keep quoting my mum on this, she's an amazing detective... we had like a 4-5 hour detective session on comparing the decoy with Michael. HA!

The lips on the imposter are a bigger than Michael's Lips .... wider & more full ... Michael's are full but slender at the same time .... and his teeth come down perfectly and has the "c" smile come down perfectly... and the teeth on Michael aren't not fake ... imposter is.

Also note that Mike had that scar running across his bottom lip from surgery... the impostor doesn't have any scars there at all.

And Mike had a jar of prosthetic noses (no, I'm not making this up XD) and tips... it's possible the impostor could be wearing a MJ nose as he has obviously had surgery to basically be MJ's clone.

Wow....Its hard for me to tell. Except looking at the upper lip. MJ had a slight misalignment with his upper lip and nose. And MJ' when he smiled had a slight slant downward on his lower left lip....O2 man does not have this...

The decoy had teeth that resembled MJ's but were more bucktoothed, here is Michael demonstrating a fake teeth, you can see Mike's teeth under the fake teeth - this is almost definitely for the actor/impersonator we're discussing in this thread.

NOTE: I'm not saying these are the exact teeth used for the decoy, plz understand I'm just showing an example of their being used.

okay...i also spend a lot time to compare MJ pics with the ones taken during O2 conference... in my opinion its not Michael.. because of the eyes, the smile, the behaviour.... my Mom was also watching this 02 stuff several days ago with me and then she just turn around and said- "This is never Michael Jackson- look at the smile " but she had to admit that the hands look kinda similar...
i am still not 100% sure that it wasnt MJ but at least i would go with 80% lol

Michael's fingernails went dark brown, due to either drug use or skin bleaching (it has an adverse effect on fingernails like nail polish) and the O2 man had light coloured nails.

The top lip....llok at the BOTTOM of his top lip that lays on his top teeth. There is a curvature in both pics...

Ya know what. Im not even bothering anymore cus I see differences and similarities in both real and fake MJ.
Does anyone actually know if he had work done on his face recently before he died? If so, this could explain alot.
