Lawsuits before 02

I found these links about Michael being sued before 02, and about how he was in another obligation and wasn't suppose to do the concerts, I didn't know were else to post this. But why would Michael being the humble and honest man that we feel he is, make a commitment to do a family reunion and then back out, especially since he signed contracts?

So Why would Michael agree to do a tour when he had other obligations?

I actually had heard about this..
I can't say for sure, but my understanding is that he did say he was going to be part of a Jackson reunion (why I don't know..)

I was under the impression that he never committed to the family reunion. Once again it was Jermaine who started that.

Ya now that you mention it, I only remember hearing Jermaine say anything about it (and it's pretty obvious how jealous he was of his brother)

If he had a contract to do the family reunion, I sure wish I could see it.

This is what I know because I think the news regarding this was 2 to 3 months ago.

The $40 million lawsuit was filed by ALLGOOD ENTERTAINMENT INC., claiming breach of contract and fraud in attempts to stop Jackson from London Performances.

MJ claimed that he never personally signed papers for Family-Reunion Shows and AEG Live.

ALLGOOD ENTERTAINMENT INC. stated that it signed a deal with Frank DiLeo in Nov. '08 to appear in Jackson Family Reunion Concert for the summer.

According to Patrick Alloco, CEO of ALLGOOD ENTERTAINMENT INC, the contract for the scheduled concert for JULY - for JULY 3 in Cowboy Stadium in 2010. the contract stipulates that MJ can't perform individually before the ALLGOOD ENTERTAINMENT Show or for 3 months after JULY.
