A Ghost Talking To A Ghost

So a few weeks ago I get this bizarre email and post it on my
blog. I also posted a link to that blog entry on Twitter. I know some
of the gals Rae's forum and this forum saw this email I got
- I didn't bother posting anything on the forums because I thought
someone was playing a prank on me. Well....maybe not. Here's what the
email said:

When hinges creak in doorless chambers,
and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls;
Whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still -
That is the time when ghosts are present,
practicing their terror with ghoulish delight!Now don't close your eyes and don't try to hide,
For a silly spook may sit by your side.
Shrouded in a daft disguise, he pretends to terrorize.

As the moon climbs high o'er the dead oak tree,
Spook arrives for the midnight spree.
Creepy creep with eerie eyes starts to shriek and harmonize.When you hear the knell of a requiem bell,
weird glows gleam where spirits dwell.
Restless bones etherealize, rise as spooks of every size!

When the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake,
Spook comes out for a swinging wake!
Happy haunt materializes, and begins to vocalize.
Grim Grinning Ghost comes out to socialize!
The happy haunt has received your sympathetic vibrations.
They're assembling for a swinging wake, and they'll be expecting me.

Ummm. Yeah.

Didn't think too much about this until last night when some unknown person
came into chat asking me about my blog post and the Haunted Mansion
being in the movie.

Wha??????????????????????? Im watching the movie right now....again.

I also heard something about something being written on the Earth Girls band aid in the movie.....not to take away from you topic.

interesting, although i'm not really into ghosts and what not. what exactly did the person ask about the haunted mansion?

I saw the movie, but will need to go back and rewatch. Apparently at the beginning of the new Thriller in the movie they show the Haunted Mansion.

Who? The person who came into chat last night? They said something about my blog post (see above) and told me at first
they thought the email was fake, but now they're not so sure and brought up the haunted mansion reference in the movie.

That - I cannot say because I don't know. Came from a hotmail or gmail account. I tried tracing the ip address, but it just lead me back to the email provider's ip and not the ip of their actual internet connection.

So when you got the e-mail it had no name to announce who the e-mail was from? Someone obviously knows about computers and dont want to be found out!!

I'm kind of confused... did the email have a particular subject that made you want to see what was enclosed in it? how do we know that this has to do with This Is It?
