If this has been pointed out or posted.. My apologies, but I just now read this and find it very interesting what "CAROL" says who speaks about THE LA POLICE CHIEF BRATTON in LOS ANGELES CALI.

The thing that puzzles me is he resigned last week, why is his effective date, October 31st?

I remember Arnold Klein saying he was working on Michael's apperance and I brushed it off as BS because he's not a plastic surgeon but maybe this is right.

Couldn't agree more. I'm a dual resident of metro New York and metro Boston, and I've always respected the job Bratton has done on the police force in both locations. Glad to see someone else shares my opinion that he wouldn't intentionally dupe the public.

well, no cause MJ is not a national threat or anything! he is not an ordinary criminal. well, if U were her, would you keep your mouth shut? I couldn't! and, after all, she didn't go to the press but decided to give us some clues on MJHD. That's what an excited fan (and I suppose she might be one) would do! remember that MJ is a man of indecribaly high calibre! in his case code and ethics is something of smaller significance than the excitement about his being alive, i think...

I'm kinda believing her guys. I also thought that we hadn't seen what Michael really looks like in awhile. I think he's going to gain a little more weight (I think he always looked even better with a little extra weight), grow some facial hair in fully, change his hair, and maybe a little nip and tuck here and there, and voila a Michael we've never seen before.

I so hope this is true. I can completely see this being true. This is a cause for celebration, I need to head to the goldpants thread.

who knows ? maybe the kids have been in contact with him all the time .

I have that believe that The children DID see Mike at the hospital, but only so he could tell them, that they would see daddy again. Im sure he told them to be brave, and behave themselves until daddy returns, but that he needed to rest, and that he loves them more than life. Just a thought.

And the plot continues to thicken because apparently, his term was extended for an additional 5 years in June of 2007. Further, in March 2009 Councilman Herb Wesson proposed an amendment to the City Charter which would allow Bratton to serve a third consecutive term.

So, in summary, we've got this great law-abiding guy that (1) came in and cleaned up the LAPD and LA (2) who was awarded a second term (btw, it's been almost 20 years since an LAPD police chief was re-appointed for a second term, much less a THIRD term) (3) who abruptly resigns (4) who's writing a book

Things that make you go...hmmmmm.
