ACTOR Macaulay Culkin is the mystery dad of Michael Jackson's son Blanket, it was claimed last night.

The Home Alone film star is said to have donated sperm to help Jacko create his seven-year-old offspring - real name Prince Michael II - with an unknown surrogate mum.

The two celebrities became firm friends after Culkin, now 29, shot to fame as a child in the 1990 box office smash.

He went on to star alongside Jackson in the video for his hit song Black or White in 1991, regularly visited the singer's Neverland ranch, and took the witness stand to defend him at his 2005 child molestation trial.

One source said: "It is well known Jackson and Macaulay shared a unique bond.

"Now rumours are spreading like wildfire that Macaulay, who Jackson nicknamed Mack, is actually Blanket's biological dad."

Close pals say Jacko, who died aged 50 at his Los Angeles home in June, is not the natural dad of Blanket, his brother Michael, 12, or their 11-year-old sister Paris.

Fevered speculation gripped the US after repeated claims that a "well-known Hollywood actor" donated the sperm for Blanket.

Now sources close to Jackson say the Thriller star asked Culkin for the donation to help him complete his "perfect" family.

The source added: "This isn't just chitter-chatter, even Culkin suspects he's Blanket's father.

"So many names have been mentioned as prospective dads, and this is probably the wackiest yet.

"But Jackson and Culkin were best friends. He was one of the few people Jackson really trusted and Mack never let him down.

"Really, Jackson idolised him - that's why he asked Mack to donate sperm.

"Deep down, I think he always wished Mack was his son. Creating Blanket was the next best thing."

Culkin - godfather to Jacko's other two children - has told pals he will not comment in public out of loyalty to his late pal.

Helped by fertility experts and skin specialist Dr Arnie Klein, Jackson is said to have stockpiled the ingredients to genetically engineer three "perfect" kids.

Klein is said to have given sperm for the elder two, while actor Mark Lester has claimed HE is Paris' dad.

Yesterday Jacko's brother Marlon appeared to confirm the star did not conceive his children naturally.

He said: "Those were Michael's kids - regardless of where they came from."

Jackson will be buried on Thursday in a gold-plated coffin in the Hollywood Hills.

Culkin was unavailable for comment.

Okay, let us count them: 1)Mark Lester donated sperm 2)Arnold Klein donated sperm 3)Mack donated sperm 3)Michael donated sperm (which is now being held in London?) I personally think all three are Michaels biological children but, regardless of that he is the person who raised them. I am adopted so let me tell you that when you have a parent that loves and supports you the way Michael seem to have done with his children biology and DNA do not matter. The man that raises you, loves you, and takes care of you is your Daddy in the only way that counts. I hope that if what they are saying is true (highly unlikely, the media lies) that someone has explained this to the children.

WOW!!!! How many moms and dads can these children have? Lets see we have multiple women claiming to be Blankets mother and now they are saying Culkin is his father. We have AK and ML to be the fathers of Prince and Paris. Once again, as I have posted in another thread, I don't give a damn what the biology of these children may be because in every way that matters they are Michael's!!!!!!!!

I wish that too DC - I don't like it when people involve the children, I may sound like a freak but I feel so protective over Michael and his children and I hate seeing all this speculation and rubbish written about them to sell papers and generate ratings.

I know people won't agree with me, but I preferred it when the kids were anonymous and the world didn't know their faces. This kept them protected in a way because - although they were always hounded - they were never followed or photographed like Suri Cruise or Angelina's kids are, being papped at school, going out shopping etc.

This media intrusion only helps damage the kids because their lives will forever be in a fishbowl with papparazzi, helicopters, reporters everywhere - no child should have to live like that, knowing that their every move is caught on camera for a hungry public greedy for more.
Leave the kids alone.

Exactly. I think we need a change of Law - something to protect celebs and stars and their families. Michael spent his life protecting his kids which is why we never saw them - and that was great - now the media think he's 'gone' and they feel they have the right to go after the kids. They don't.

I have seen videos like this on youtube where they say all 3 children are his. Its complete BS. He would have been 17 when Prince was born. Its stupid.
Another thing Didn't the sun make claims that Mark Lester was the Godfather to all 3 children, when clearly it states the Culkin is the godfather to Prince and Paris. IDK is it normal to have more than one godfather?

I know - and God bless Michael for all the work he did and continues to do, however all the good deeds in the world do not stop the Press hounding, following and endangering the lives of famous people.

The level of intrusion into Stars lives gets worse and worse every day - people are getting into accidents, car crashes and other dangerous situations because the Press is intruding into their lives and the lives of their families/children.

Case in point:
- George Clooney got into a motorcycle accident trying to escape from the paps following him - both he and his girlfriend were injured in the accident.
- Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck's kids are hounded by papparazzi outside their school which causes problems for other children and their parents.
- Julia Roberts children can't go to school without having paps hounding them and following them in cars - this is why she had to stop and intervene with the paps.
- Orlando Bloom got into a car crash trying to escape from paps who had taken chase.
- Princess Diana was being chased by papparazzos in cars on her way home which led to her death in the Alma tunnel in Paris.
- Princes' William and Harry and other members of the Royal Family were being hounded and stalked until the Royals made a deal with the newspapers to provide them with official photo opportunities in return for peace and safety from the paps.

These situations are getting worse because the press feel as though they are entitled to hound, follow and chase famous people in order to get 'something' good which will sell papers.

What I'm talking about is the legal precedent set by Sienna Miller when she took her media harassment case to court and won which means the photogs are no longer allowed to take pictures of her or hound her and follow her anymore. This is progress and it is a good thing.

Yes you were. Mac loves Mike ALOT. He never let him down. He was always there for him, he is one of the few people Michael really trusted.
He has always been private about their friendship, wich I think is amazing. I love Mac, he has always been so good to Michael, and he could make him laugh anytime

Although I do think its weird, that none of them were at the memoriel. But I do think they had a reason for that. I think some of them might be in on this Hoax

BTW there is no doubt about ALL 3 CHILDREN beeing Mikes biologicly, and specially not Blanket, he looks so much like Michael
