Joe Jackson's weird statement...

hi guys 
I am sorry if this was posted already but @ MJHD, electron (and all credit goes to him/her) posted this thread raising a question over what Joe's publicist said on his behalf when he was questioned a day prior to the funeral;
'He loves his fans, absolutely loves the fans..and he misses them'
there are 2 odd things:
1. the present tense (highlighted in bold)
2. if this statement was from Joe, given by the publicist on his behalf, it's even more peculiar as he does not have fans (maybe haters) and why would he miss his so-called fans???
but then I thought maybe the publicist spoke without thinking and just blurted out whatever popped in her head..
what do u guys think?

I wouldn't expect anything else but the present tense... after all everybody seems to be making this "mistake", Kenny Ortega, Jermaine, LaToya, the Dancers. you are not careful actors, folks!

lol, i love listening to what joe says. i don't think there's been one interview he's done since june 25 where he didn't say something that makes you go, "hmm." even when he's not talking, he says a lot.
