Not sure what happend to my post, but for those of you who didn't read it.... What if instead of one person posing as many members, there were multiple people posting under the same member name? Gives a whole new meaning to "split personality", doesn't it? Anyone thought of this?

I thought I was loosing my mind, because I was sure I replied to your message and then I couldn't find it again.

I made a post that said that I suspect that there is a certain member whose posts on different forums don't add up. They seem to be two different people posing as one member. For example, let's say member A posts a topic that sounds like they're very knowledgeable and knows what they're talking about, then in the next postthey sound unsure, and even a little ditzy. It doesn't make sense.

So you think they're being hacked or something of that nature?

I'm not sure if someone's being hacked or if someone is deliberately allowing someone to use there member name to post. If this person was hacked they probably would have mentioned it by now.

Oh, well... there are 649 members now. There's no way I can figure out who you are talking about.

Speculation only raises paranoia in me and I'm not falling for that trap.

All I know is that my 1238 (and counting) posts were done by me.

Ok, I just reread your question.
That seems a bit out there but I have seen stranger things.

If that is hapening, The Admin will be able to look under the users name and see IP address, Locations, and if the user shares the same IP address as another user.
If you have questions, you should PM an Admin. They may be able to answer that question, if they are willing to.

What member /s are you talking about?

This topic is pure speculation and is a sure fire way to get people questioning others and their intentions.

Topic will now be locked and if anyone has any queries or worries about members posing as other people please PM me or the other MODs.
