Could this be our Jack London?

so, we've all read Annie's amazing story, and like most people i've been thinking "who could Jack london be?" Well, i was browsing the web, and found this:

- he mysteriously died in may 2006
- had no relatives, - body wasnt claimed until after 3 months of his death
- was cremated
- had an uncanny resemblance to MJ
- not much of his life is known

It may be nothing....I just find it weird how a person, who has an uncanny resemblance to MJ, dies a mysterious death, has no relatives and not much of his life is known.

Your thoughts?

Interesting and a person without any family ties would be a logical choice. I found this sentence interesting:

He said he had once appeared on a television talk show as Michael
Jackson, when Jackson himself had cancelled at the last minute for
security reasons.

Wonder what talk show appearance it was? That way we could see how well he did as Michael.

I agree! this is a weird story! No one claims this man's body and no one knows anything about his life! He died a mysterious death just as much as he lived a Mysterious life! scratch

Apparently Blackie was in some kind of financial problem (e.g. he was behind in his rent payment..) which coudl have resulted in his death (i.e. homicide..)

FREDDY KRUEGER and Homer Simpson have not spoken since Sydney's Michael Jackson died.

The near life-size toy figures, whose voices are activated by electronic sensors, have stood silent for two months in the shop that doubled as the home of their owner, Richard Blackie, a Michael Jackson impersonator.

Mr Blackie's body has lain unclaimed at the City Morgue in Glebe since it was discovered on May 27 at the Antique Toy Trading Company in Petersham. Police believe his death at the age of 41 was the result of suicide.

They have been unable to trace any relatives, even though Mr Blackie often talked about his mother and sister, and even a girlfriend, whom no one ever saw.

The fate of one of Australia's largest collections of antique and modern toys, comics, television and movie memorabilia - which Mr Blackie dreamed would be displayed in a museum of his creation - is now uncertain.

In an interview with the Herald two years ago, Mr Blackie, who more than a decade ago had plastic surgery to remake his face in the image of his teen pop idol, Michael Jackson, said there were more than 3.5 million objects crammed into his tiny shop.

"I've been called upon to round up all the old toys in the world," he said of his 20-year obsession, which friends speculate grew out of a childhood deprived of love and toys as a ward of the state in Queensland.

Marrickville police were stunned on entering the shop.

"Out the back where he slept, we came across John Wayne - no kidding, a life-size mannequin of John Wayne sitting on a stuffed horse," one officer said.

Antenella Azzopardi, an artist and friend of three years who lived above Mr Blackie's shop, spoke with sadness of the last month of his life. Miss Azzopardi said his mood swung from depression to paranoia.

A week before his death, Mr Blackie came to her with a bruise on his head, saying he had been assaulted by a man demanding money, and he was also worried that he was behind in the rent.

"A couple of days later he changed his story and said a group of men had assaulted him in the grounds of a church. Then he said someone was gassing his shop because his four chihuahuas and German shepherd were sleeping too much," she said.

Later, she heard Mr Blackie's dogs crying. "Now we know why," she said.

Miss Azzopardi said Mr Blackie craved attention and loved it when people remarked on his resemblance to Jackson, with whom he corresponded. He would proudly show customers and friends Jackson's letters to him.

"He was a great character, he could talk all day about his collection. At night you sometimes heard his Homer Simpson doll talking," she laughed, adding "but Freddy Krueger freaked one of my friends out when he talked, especially at night when you would hear them together."

Miss Azzopardi said Mr Blackie was one of Jackson's authorised imitators for shopping centre appearances. He said he had been on a television talk show as Michael Jackson.

But in the past year, with the crash in popularity of his idol amid claims of child molestation, Mr Blackie's dream of a national toy museum was shattered.

Police found no suicide note. They said it did not appear that Mr Blackie was in financial difficulty.

With no known next of kin to claim his body, police said he faced a "destitute funeral" in an unmarked grave.

With no will, his collection is in the hands of the public trustee.

I only barely remember him from heearing about him on news the last time I visited Oz..but in terms of the looks, I am not sure he could pull off being Michael Jackson lookalike but I guess anything's possible with a good arts team Very Happy

Did I miss something or isn't that guy the one who looks like Michael the most(the one from the video)? If I'm wrongly informed please let me know. It is driving me crazy that everyone keeps concentrating on other impersonators but nobody brings up the one guy that looks like Michael the most. Or (it wouldn't be the first time Very Happy

) I am completely off with my remarks.

I never read the description of this video before.

Really? But the guy in the wheelchair doesn't look like Michael at all. I was under the impression that Michael was the look a like of the real Michael. They don't show him much in the video and especially when he is filmed from the side and when he is in the car you can see that he doesn't have the Michael jaw. He has a much smaller face. But it can also be that I've become quite paranoid myself after reading so many different theory's and seeing so many pictures. lol!

I am going to check the video again. If the wheelchair man is the look a like he did a lousy job picking one imo. He could have just picked a regular guy off the street.

I have no idea. To me anyway he doesn't look like the Michael in Remember the Time and Keep it in the closet which was also around that time. This guy has a very small face and they don't even show him that much. There is no other look a like in the video. So what guy did Michael pick? The wheelchair guy is in no way a look a like...I look more like Michael then that guy Very Happy

He finds a platinum business card with the name 'Alex' seemingly confirming that she is cheating with the person whose name is on the card.

The guy that has the card in its hand is Michael Jackson so there are only 2 options. There is no look a like and the information we got is incorrect or that guy is the look alike. The wheelchair guy has nothing to do with it if you read the description. It revolves around the look alike aka Michael Jackson.

There is no wheelchair michael. That is what I'm trying to say. I've watched it a million times now and that wheelchair guy is a minor character who has no resemblence with Michael at all. Wikipedia claims it's a look alike who finds a business card and is in recluse. The only one finding a business card with Alex on it and being in recluse is Michael! So as I said before 2 options : Information on Wikipedia incorrect and Michael never picked a double for the video or that guy in the video was the double. There are no other options.

I get that you're trying to explain that and thanks for your effort but just saying 'the guy in the wheelchair is Michael' is not sufficient for me. I want someone to tell me the information on Wikipedia is incorrect. Because the information on Wikipedia contradicts your claim that it's the guy in the wheelchair. The information on Wikipedia clearly states the look alike is the character finding the business card with Alex on it and being in recluse.

Ok so I guess we are both right. The real Michael is in the video but not the whole time. I just found out the impersonator/double was the Michael Jackson in the car! So some scenes it's Michael and some is the double because Michael could not be there the whole time due to his tour. Now I need to know who the double was. The wheelchair guy has nothing to do with the impersonator story as it seems.

The person in the car at 2:32, 2:42 and 2:51 is obviously e casanova, not Michael Jackson. He has "sharper" brows and a thinner mouth than Michael. (Possibly why he's covering his mouth with his hand?). Sleeping on the plane at 6:05 is e casanova, not Michael Jackson. The rest I don't want to make false guesses at, but I'd say the scene where he leaves for the helicopter is blurred for a reason.

I do not know who died. I never though that it was E-Cass. After People started Harassing E-cass I dropped that theory completely. Dont be sad..
