How Does Jermaine Expect a BILLION people to watch the Vienna Tribute?

1. It appears that the "big names" have flaked out
2. I'm hearing that no one else in the Jackson family is participating
3. Right now he is the only confirmed performer.

I suppose we will see what he says on Tuesday, but unless he can hint at MJ being there, or a "big surprise", not sure how he's going to get that many people to watch. You can see MJ cover artists anywhere.

I also heard he hired someone to jumpstart his solo career again, so it could be for him to get a large audience for himself.

I do think if MJ were to come back this would be the opportune event, the day before the This Is It tickets are sold.

Jermaine is suppossedly having a press conference on Tuesday announcing the lineup.

You can buy tickets already at the tribute2009.com website. The actual tribute will be held the day before the This Is It tickets go on sale.

Jermaine has been jealous from the beginning of Michael's talent and fame possibly Janet's too.

I think that Vienna concert is going to fail big time. Who goes to a concert when you don't even know who is performing in the first place?

The only one that can perform Michael's songs is Michael. No one can even come close.

) i remember in "the private home videos", Michael is talking about how his mother once got emotional and said how, when he was a baby and she was holding him in her arms and blah blah blah (you know the scene, right?), well, MJ goes "it was in copenhagen, i think. And there were like 500,000 people there" i was like "uh.. MIke? The biggest arena we have in Denmark can hold 50,000". Exaggerating a bit?

I am actually tempted to pay him to sing the other version of 'Smile' again - his version. He only ever did it once which was a deliberate move because he didn't bat an eyelid and just carried on as if nothing had happened.

Well! It's not surprising. The world no matter what, loved MJ. I was talking to a friend last night after the gym. He's an MJ fan too. He said, MJ was the most talked about person other than Jesus Christ in the entire world. Because of that genuine love MJ had for people there are those that will have no part of the charade that his brother Jermaine is trying to put together. Jermaine will never be MJ nor will he ever have the impact MJ had! He need's to get over himself. No better for him! Keep the Faith!

I remember when I first heard about this I asked people to boycot the concert as I looked it up and was most concerned about a line that stated " A portion of the proceeds will go to charities" I was concerned about the word portion and when I looked up the charities they were none of MJ's and one of them was one Jermaine started yrs ago but never was used.

I knew when it was announced that is was just another reason for Jermaine to cash in on his brother and no matter what you may say they is something "off" about Jermaine. I knew this concert in Vienna would go nowhere and am glad it is not going anywhere

Jermaine bothers me ... he bothers me alot.

You know when the jackson's did the victory tour they did some shady stuff too
in regards to the tickets and what not. MJ wanted no part of it and made them change the way the tickets were sold espcially getting a letter from a little girl complaining about ticket prices.

Jermaine i think has always been jealous of MJ's talent. I think he has held some kind of grudge against mike for taking away the spotlight from him. He was suppose to be the lead singer in the jackson 5 but mj was made lead singer instead. So that has really stick in his craw all these years especially since MJ has gone on to bigger and better things. Not to mention the wise business decisions that Mike has made with the music catalog.

Jermaine and the brothers have spent all their money and blown it on crap. Look at Randy he is a handyman i think? What happened to all his money?

That family has always depended on MJ to carry them one way or another.

i am suprised they haven't gone after Janet to make some money or at least borrow from.

I agree CaptainJaneway - with the Victory Tour they came up with the idea that fans could only buy tickets in batches of 4 which racked up hundreds of dollars but were impossible for normal people/fans to afford and Michael wanted no part of it and had it changed.
