It's close to midnight..... (reason for delay in ceremony)??

In my search for clues ("evidence") that this is the most ingenious HOAX:

I was thinking about the 90-minute delay in the ceremony...then the lights went on!

7:00 p.m. in California (PST) is sunset...BUT take into account the 3-hr time difference for east coasters (EST) here in the U.S.

So, given a 90-minute delay, that puts us at 8:30 p.m. PST, 11:30 p.m. EST.

Another thing I thought when the family was 90 minutes late was about the O2 conference. They said Michael was 90 minutes late for that. I thought that was a weird coincidence.
