Odd article about Eddie Murphy droppping out of a film because of sonys involvement

Hey guys, this is my 1st post but i have been surfing through the forum for quite a while now, but didnt really have much to contribute hence why this is my 1st post lol.

Btw if this is in the wrong place my apoligies as I said its my 1st post so I could be in the wrong thread or there could already be a thread about this up.

First of all this is not my own hoax theory lol just a article in saw on perez hilton which i found rather odd. has nothing to do with MJ but still i find it interesting with the whole sony thing.

Marlon Wayans will be replacing Eddie Murphy in the starring role of the upcoming feature film Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said?

The change stems from the previous switch of studios (Eddie was on board when the flick belonged to Paramount, but not such much with Sony.) Marlon was asked to perform in a 13-minute screen test in which we hear he "transformed into Pryor" and "blew the producers away", which includes Pryor's late wife and Chris Rock. Barring a actual finalized contract, Marlon is locked in!

do you think that eddie didnt want to have anything to do with a movie associated with sony because he noes something?? is he not happy with the way they treated michael over the years, or is he in on the hoax and is distancing himself away from them or if michael is "dead" (which by the way i do not believe he is) does eddie believe they had something to do with his so called death, or maybe he has his own reasons.. who knows lol just something i thought i would share with you.

btw since this is my first post jst wanna say thnks to everyone who has posted their theories and reasearched vital info on this i really appreaciate it. this stuff has really opened my eyes. we cant always rely on the media to give us the info because after all "Just because you read it in a magazine, Or see it on the TV screen, Don't make it factual" haha lol

It´s an interesting thought, I like when we think ahead. Might very well be so. I don´t know if MJ and Eddie were good friends as Chris T. and MJ were, but it´s very possible. I haven´t heard of Eddies support during the trials, that´s why I´m questioning it. If Eddie was one of his good friends then surely there is a possibility that Sony isn´t one of his favourite companies.

hey good point. i just was always under the impression that they were good friends but who knows.

I haven´t watched the trial closely, so I´m not sure, but I´d think one would hear about him supporting MJ. Maybe at least having called him or something. I know a lot of his so called friends took a step back so I wouldn´t be surprised if he was one of them.

Anyone who knows a lot about the trial maybe could answer this question.

Welcome IFONLY. Thanks for the interesting post. Every one in the entertainment industry know about Sony but some of them want to keep their job which explains their silence. Sony is a money-making company and those who work for them or under their company are of the same banana, that is money motivated. These money motivated people will adhere to the manipulation without acknowledging so at the expense of the others.

MJ and Eddie worked together and probably his association with MJ has marred his reputation, too, and/or Eddie couldn't just stand by/work for something related to Sony. And he must have the awakening that he should make a difference also in the world just like Michael.

And in addition, Michael made his stand about Sony, and probably that's what Eddie did. So now I'm wondering about Chris, who is supposed to be his friend.

Totally off subject maybe but we all know that Michael and Eddie were friends so why wasn't Eddie at the funeral? There are many of Michaels friends absent including his very dear friend Diana Ross who was even named in the will as guardian of MJs kids in event of Katherine not being able. I think too many people close to Michael staying away is not just a question of other engagements and should be taken into account and should give us even more reason to believe in a hoax death.

Agree. I mean, they can´t ALL be using the same excuse: "it´s too hard for me" or whatever it may be.
