The concerts weren't meant to be, but the TII movie was definitely planned

Did anyone else see the interview with Kenny Ortega, in which he clearly states that the taping of rehearsals was almost stopped, because the production costs went from $7 million to almost $ 30 million? Kenny said that Michael insisted on continuing because he felt he needed to share this with the world. So, releasing the footage was always planned, right?

Another thing I keep wondering about is what Michael says in the footage: "This is it. This is the moment'. What is the moment? It can't refer to the 02 concerts, if it's only a moment. What is going to happen when he says that? You would expect something to happen, right? Has anyone else thought about that?

Excellent idea.
Maybe MJ knew he wasn't going to around by the time the concerts were supposed to begin and that's why he insisted on leaving HD tapes of rehearsals for his fans.

I also think that the movie was planned. For me it seems to convinient, for it to be shown in theathres worldwide for 2 weeks only

Mabye there will be some clues in that movie?? I don't know, Im kind of confused about this whole thing

Me thinks...
Maybe because announcing concerts would create more hype than directly announcing a movie.
Maybe he behaved differently because didn't want to lie to his fans.

yey you r rite but then i came to secont thought if he was lieng about concerts and it was a movie so the movie will not be having rehersels it was a movie alway aaaaaa im getting crazy wht is this i think we can get answer only in movie

Mmmyeah, after reading Moonwalk, and him saying "this is what I'm interested in doing when I have a chance - this is it."
when talking about movies, Im more than convinced now that this is the
moment he is referring to at the O2 conference thingie. I know
that the autobiography was done eons ago, but I am pretty sure he never
lost urge to do a big movie and it's a huge coincidence that he states
"this is it" in moonwalk when discussing movies and now tadaaa! there
is a MJ This is it movie ! Im not saying he planned all of this from
way back when, but its interesting how it ties together.
