Re: Radio 1 Interview today 21/10/2009
Missed first couples of qs
What inspired the movie
Never jumped at chance, people wanted to see the show. Realised that it was last ‘documentation of Michael Jackson and I was there’. Felt it had to be done and it is for the fans.
What to expect?:
Make a film to share with the fans the intention of Michael’s show. Really a tribute and celebration of a ‘genius ‘ and ‘master’. Mentions how he’s singer, dancer, choreographer and DIRECTOR.
Why the cameras?
Needed it as a reference so it could be discussed later. Would have ended up in Michael’s private library.
How did they work?
Had so much fun, had an extraordinary show planned
Hear live version of ‘The Way you Make me Feel’- sounds amazing
Explains how he was on good form, chose dancers half his age and he still blew their minds at 51. Really see it in the film, have dancers falling to knees in rehearsals
Looked fit:
Making sure he had protein drinks, salad and chicken, made sure he was fed as he was getting stronger.
These are just quick notes while I was hearing it on the radio, as I'm not the fastest typer in the world. At the moment This is It' is on, and afterwards will be listeners questions xxxx

Re: Radio 1 Interview today 21/10/2009
Will it show Michael's humour:
There's funny stuff in the film definitely, he would call him and change his voice, has a great British accent. He would do it when you called his house as well.
What was he like last time he saw him:
Very happy, and of rehearsal on wed night, watched the choreographer, Michael says 'its the dream' and to tell everyone 'thank you and see you tomorrow' Was in a really good place
If there'll ever be this is it stage show:
hEARD MANY PEOPLE are talking about it, heard of Thriller Live in London, thinking of doing something on Broadway and Las Vegas. A super MJ experience, not sure if its This is it.
If Michael had any new moves:
You'll see it in the film Michael throws great moves, lets the music take over his body. Does a brilliant casual version of Billie Jean. Mentions the penguin dance, but he was just jamming!
What was he like:
Generous thoughtful and courteous, respectful of everyone and didnt want to hurt anyone or embarrass them an angel on earth
Which song did he enjoy performing most:
He did it for the fans, and happy that the fans voted for material, enjoyed Human Nature, Stranger in Moscow (wanted to alternate the song) probably Human Nature was favourite he loved it all
Are you nervous:
It was scary at the beginning wasnt sure if he wanted to be a partb of it but became a healing experience, bonded everyone deeper and gave us more of Michael, He is so alive in this film (said this twice)
Sorry if my notes are sloppy tried to write as fast as poss to keep up with it all

Re: Radio 1 Interview today 21/10/2009
He seems a really genuine guy to be honest, he got a good reception from the listeners as well. I think it's important how he stressed a few times how he didn't want to jump straight into it and the main reason for doing the movie is because the FANS asked and it's not just jumping into the money making bandwagon xxx

Thanks a lot Jubilee! I think Kenny seems sincere as well. Not as sure about Randy. It makes me tear up when people call MJ an angel on earth because that's how I've always seen him.

Hmmm, They just cannot stop slipping up eh? Read the above quote- we have been led to believe the delay in ringing 911 is because there wasn't a phone in the house! "HE WOULD DO IT WHEN YOU CALLED HIS HOUSE AS WELL" That says it all eh???

Yes, That is what I have always thought strange, I found it hard to believe there wasn't a land line when there were his Children in the house and MJ had long conversations with his friends, he loved to talk to his friends on the phone. Read info below from a reliable site.
Michael Jackson’s doctor admits there was an astonishing 30 minute delay for ambulance crews to arrive – saying he did not know the address to call them to.
Dr Conrad Murray desperately performed CPR on Jackson without calling 911.
By the time he raised the alarm, getting a security guard to make the emergency call, it was “about 25 to 30 minutes” before help arrived, his lawyer admits.
Now Dr Murray – who was living with Jackson – has told police the long delay was because he did not know Jackson’s address to be able to make the call himself.
The cardiologist’s attorney Ed Chernoff said: “In the Jackson house, in Michael Jackson’s room, there is no phone, no land line, and so there’s no way to call 911 and have an automated system to determine where the call is coming from.
“Dr Murray had his cell phone but he did not know the address of Michael Jackson’s house.
“He knew how to get there, he knew what road it was on, but he did not know the precise address so he couldn’t use cell phone.
“He called security from his cellphone while administering CPR and there was no answer.
“He continued to administer CPR, trying to revive Michael Jackson, and at some point he had to run downstairs and yell for help, finally locating the chef who got security up to the room and then the 911 call was made.”
The attorney insisted: “Throughout the whole of that 25 or 30 minutes before emergency personnel arrived, Dr Murray was performing CPR and trying to revive Mr Jackson.”

Oooh, good find HB!! I remember seeing a supposed photo of MJ's bedroom and there is a black landline phone sitting on the night table. Murray is so full of it!

Is he trying to say that he is alive?

Yeah, but that doesn't mean MJ didn't own a cell phone, which I'm sure he did.
Lots of people don't have "land line" phones anymore....only cell.

Wasn't sure if he wanted to be a part of what? The tour was scheduled so what else could there be that they aren't sure if he would want to be a part of? A MOVIE maybe!!!!
