oh my gosh that makes me so mad! so this means they definitely used doubles in the movie? I don't see why Navi would lie...

But I don't see doubles in the movie. Maybe yes but I just don't see Navi.

how do you mean master plan?

If there are any doubles my money is on Ecas because I read on a link here somewhere else that Ecas was MJ's double in some photos and I guess nobody must have noticed cause I never heard anything about such a thing. The double for photos could have been a test to see if they can fool everyone. That is only my opinion though.

Isn't having stand-ins pretty typical when shooting a film though? I'm sure they weren't going to have MJ stand around while they checked the lighting, etc. I don't think that means they were trying to pass him off as a double. I didn't see any doubles in the movie at all.

I dont believe I seen any stand ins either, but I was confused about the parts where they had the split screen and MJ was wearing different clothes.

It was just him at different rehearsals performing the same song.

They weren't supposed to be shooting a movie though remember? And if they were then MJ was definitely murdered or his death was a hoax. The rehearsal footage was made for Michael's own video library. I wouldn't put it past those heartless b*stards who made 'This Is It' the movie, to try and include doubles to make Michael look more healthy, support their false claims and clear their names. I do see what you mean though, I've seen the movie once and I didn't notice any evidence of doubles. Then again, my eyesight was obsructed as I cried the whole way through! Would need to watch it again more critically. But I still don't see why Navi would lie...

Well I meant for the filming of the green screen stuff. They would have needed a stand-in for that, I'm pretty sure.

You will need "doubles" and "stand-ins" for light, stage set, costumes, camera, staff setting etc. Nothing to worry about.

I've seen the movie only once...I will watch it a 2nd time next week.
Have to admit, I've seen NO doubles so far...

maybe a short cut in the Smooth criminal video....this jump through the wall...
it was a stunt....

but all other scenes...I thought it was MJ

The FACE of Navi is totally different to MJ....E'Cas looks more similar to MJ
than Navi...
maybe Navis height....body...whatever..
but his face...even with sunglasses you see the difference...
so I can just imagine he was some kind of "light double" not more and not less

I agree, a stand-in has nothing to do with double. I haven't seen anyone else besides MJ in This Is It...E'Cas and Navi look nothing like Michael.

That doesn't mean that there isn't someone that looks even more like Michael and could have had surgery to be even more like him. If he had in fact planned this all along as myself and many others believe then they are hardly likely to publicise the fact that he has a personal double who will be on hand to assist him and a few in the know in the hoax are they? We only know of Navi, E'Cassanova and a few others who were passable lookalikes only at a distance but how do we know there wasn't an almost exact double? I think there is much more to this than we suspect, I have watched the movie online today and my first thought was that sometimes his dancing/movements did not seem Michaels, seemed "off" somehow. Am going to watch it again and again but I am inclined to agree with some that say it wasn't all the real MJ.

Maybe in the movie where there are split screens of Michael looking different rehearsing same song it was, according to the link for mjhd thread, Mike J. Jackson THE TWIN!!

Well I am not sure, but I did check out the site and came up with the same thing as the others did but I thought maybe Michael somehow could have different names registered to him.. Seems almost impossible though unless that site is a hoax as well, I forgot to verify if it was legit. The other thing I thought that could be possible is that his twin could've died that morning and Michael was planning to fake his death when his brother would die so there would be valid death paperwork.. Mike, Michael, same difference and everyone would assume it was michael or maybe he took his identity!?! I dont know anything right now, 4:30 am here and heading off to bed right now lol

The idea of this double being so much like MJ we wouldn't even be able to tell the difference bothers me. It irritates me that someone else can just 'pull off' what he does. Sure they never came up with it or anything, but they can imitate the genius that did, and sort of take away his unique-ness by doing so. I don't, at all, think there was a double in This Is It. You can imitate dance moves, but you can't imitate gestures. Little things he does with his lips, or his fingers, his hips..just certain things, you wouldn't be able to do the exact same way as someone else.

If someone got insane plastic surgery to look just like him... that'd be interesting in the sense.. well if Michael is "dead", then this guy will be wondering around everywhere and everyone would think it were Michael Jackson (yet you don't hear anything like that).

E'Cas and Navi may have the same look to them as Michael..but you can easily tell they are not Michael Jackson.

I saw TII now, and it's ALL Michael..IMO

but when I saw it on the screen at the theatre I was pretty convinced

Yes ! he's unique ! I thoughts about doubles, like you. But after the movie, now I'm 100% sure it's only Michael himself
