Jackson family claims there are Stand in's in this is it movie

This doesn't surprise me. The movie is definately looking like a cash cow for sony and not something MJ would have had anything to do with.

Promo posters for the movie, released this week, boast Jacko "like you've
never seen him before".
But his father Joe and sister La Toya accuse Sony Pictures of "fooling" fans
by using Michael Jackson impersonators.
Meanwhile a British lookalike revealed he was asked by film bosses to stand in
for the star before his death.
Jacko's dad Joe, who has seen 12 minutes of This Is It, said: "This movie
features body doubles, no doubt about it. I think people will tear this
movie apart."
And La Toya's business partner Jeffre Phillips told us: "I see all these great
movements in the trailers but I don't believe most of those shots were
Michael. He wasn't well enough. I've seen clips where I even thought,
'That's not Michael's voice.'" It's very upsetting for La Toya."
US concert promoter Terry Harvey said: "From what I can see, Michael wasn't
even singing live in a full segment. He was struggling. I was told he had
his vocals sequenced on stage so if he didn't want to sing live, they just
switched on the tape.
Essex Jacko impersonator Navi Parasram, 36, turned down an invite to appear in
the film. He said: "They asked me to do long shots, visuals, placements."
Sony declined to comment.

they were the ones who printed this pic of MJs "death bed"

TMZ reported some days ago about the doubles....and many users from here
or mjhd agree that e.g. the MJ in orange/red pants is not MJ
or most MJs we saw with sunglasses are not him...including the person
who invented the penguin move *lol*

but there are also some sequences with someone without sunglasses..
and I think, this someone is MJ.
I still have no real opinion about TII...I have to see more than just some
short trailers.....I have to see the complete movie..this will be on wednesday
evening.....not earlier...
Than I may get an idea if it's really all about the money
or another purpose...

Hmm...before his death? I thought it was just rehearsals for the shows...These rehearsals were always meant to be a movie. I could understand the need for a double/stand-in after his death, but before? And again, I thought those were frigging rehearsals!

While I agree that I don't think MJ had anything to do with the film, I don't believe this tabloid for one, and I don't believe anything Joe and Latoya say either. I still think it was all Michael in the film. I'll believe they probably used stand-ins, but not doubles...at least not in any footage I've seen. Either way, we'll all know on the 28th for sure because I don't think we'll be fooled by any impersonator.

I don't know what to think...I've already bought tickets. Oh well, we'll see.

so....mj was using doubles for his rehearsals.....Why? Also Sony or whoever picked the doubles must have done a really great job because in the past I don't think that anyone of mj's impersonators looked like him, Period.

I believe Joe Jackson said this a while back about the doubles. It shouldn't surprise anyone if it is true. We the fans have been deceived, ignored, disrespected, manipulated, and every other derogatory word you can think of since this drama started in March. I think it's outlright unconscienceable for SONY/AEG to put TII out, selling tickets to make a profit off of MJ deceiving his beloved fans. I just hope justice is served and a backlash happens behinds their farce. Keep the Faith!

Wow. I actually almost got sad reading the end of the article until I saw what tabloid wrote this garbage. NOTW needs to go outta business, seriously! The thing that makes a tabloid trashy, is when they print their own biased opinions such as during the molestation trial when they practically called him a paedo before the verdict was even out. In these cases the tabloids are trash and unfairly influencing peoples opinions with their own poisened views.

For the article above however, this is not the case. If the article is trash then that would mean the sources were talking trash, not the newspaper. In this case Joe Jackson and Navi.

Special features on the dvd's they would have released after the tour. Most probably a single dvd - then a 2 disk edition, then a 4 disk collectors edition.
Milking the fans 3 times for the same thing!

If this is true then how can the film bosses be looking for Michael stand ins and doubles for the film before MJs death when we have been told all along that the film was only planned after the death of MJ? Does this prove what we have suspected all along- that the concerts were never meant to happen and the film was planned to happen after his "death"? Ok here is my take on things.

"This Is It" the concerts were never meant to go ahead but that doesn't mean it was ever intended to be a movie. In fact I am strongly apposed to the movie theory.

I think "This Is It" was filmed in HD for whatever reason, but as the concerts were never meant to go ahead Michael wasn't too bothered about turning up to the rehearsals as reports have suggested.

When June 25th came around AEG realised they were going to be millions out of pocket, realised they had some footage of the real Michael laying about but it wasn't enough to do anything with. BAM - the idea for hiring stand ins comes in. I have always said someone with greedy intentions ran with this after June 25th.

could this also have something to do with michael (?) being what like 2 hours late to the conference on the announcement of the concerts?just guessing here

Probably because they're using his death as a mass marketing opportunity and they don't have enough decent footage of the real MJ to string together a decent enough documentary. Its all for greed G.R.E.E.D
