i'm lost with midnightmllk's tweet, cuz i never really joined into that thread...so i don't really know what he was saying before. were his tweets about michael being alive?

as far as the red carpet event, everyone seemed upbeat and only a couple people mentioned possibly becoming somber during the movie. but there were a few odd statements!

I heard that too, and it certainly didn't sound right. Why would Kenny say that, when his boss Randy Phillipps was at the hospital at the time, and later saying that Michael was on life support? Another contradiction!

Midnightmlk´s tweets are weird! I didnt read them all but most of them were about calling for HELP because she thought Michael is in DANGER , month before he "died" .... and after the 25th she said he is still alive dont worry ppl and now he is gone???? THIS IS IT Premiere online - Page 3 Icon_sad

I watched it on facebook and everyone seemed happy. Saw Jermaine who looked happy and full of himself as usual, he was dressed in a very fancy embroidered type indian style blue jacket and did not appear to be with Jackie, Marlon and Toto. Those three were dressed quite ordinary but smart and Tito seemed genuinly sad, he said "there is a sense of mourning and I don't think I'll be able to go in" Maybe I am not in tune with celebrities but most of who he interviewd I did not know who they were. There was Mickey Rooney, Sugar Ray Leonard and surprisingly was Diana Ross's Son Evan but his Mum was not there and interviewer didn't mention Diana at all. Some of the dancers who worked with Michael were asked what it was like to work with him but not a word about his health or how he was. I thought there would be some clues but there was sweet Jack *hit!
The guy who was presenting said that the tickets had sold out everwhere but tickets are still available!!!! WHAT??? Its either one or the other.

Yes, I thought that was weird too. He said it was at 4 o clock? thats when he said they started the rehearsals.

Maybe, IMO, Miko's and Liz's comments are to convince people to go and see the movie. Maybe one of the reasons for not so many people watching is the THIS IS NOT IT MJ Fan's campaign. The members of that link believe that MJ is dead but heir point of campaign ia quite good.

Something is wrong, for sure.

And all the people there, many are there just because they can show themself, never forget, it's Hollywood. This movie, is HUGE, so this is the best place to go for celebrities ..you know what I mean THIS IS IT Premiere online - Page 3 Icon_mad

Anyway, what is wrong, Michael's brothers, too happy....
Dancers, talk in present tense. At first with Timor, I thought, maybe it's because it's not is 1st langage, but when we saw the second dancer...it was the same, present tense.

Mickey Rooney was also at the memorial if I'm not wrong, and I always loved this man. Now, he's very old, and he talk like it was years ago. He's a lovely man, well, it what I think. He's old and hey, he's still "in" hehe Wink

And we have Diana Ross son...without Diana. It's like Diana really disapeared since june 25.... and she never talk about Michael since that day. For me it's one of the weirdest part. I never heard anything bad between her and Michael, so why now she just continue her life, like nothing happened ..?!!

Kenny Ortega was all SMILE there , like always, but I felt he was also very nervous. No interview, but I saw he was very very nervous.

What kept annoying me when I watched premiere on Facebook was that they kept telling us to tweet "This is it". They kept telling us over and over again. I bet they were told to promote it.

I get a feeling it isn't going to be as good a hit as they think as apart from you guys no-one I know is going to see it, none of my friends or their families and none of my family or any neighbours. Everyone I have asked (a lot believe me) if they are going to see it no one has said yes, in fact some look at me as if I have asked them to moonwalk backwards up the Kiliminjaro mountain! Hope I am wrong.

I am watching a UK/BBC Live News and the news on TII movie was only only couple of seconds, just the trailer and nothing more.

Okay, news about TII came out but they didn't show the whole red carpet, interviewed Jermaine which was very fast-some seconds, then BBC said that the Movie is to recoup losses.

They called the Movie as a "Concert Video Movie" and said that it shows raw footages.

There were some words on the screen sub like the fans say that the film is a "cover up " on how ill Michael was.

And they mentioned what Kenny Ortega said about the movie - "The last sacred documentary of our leader and fiend"

I wasn't able to take down all of what they said because it went on very fast and in some couple of seconds only.

Maybe later they'll recap on this, so I have the Live stream on just in case because they always give news update all the time.

As I thought, the people who were there, needed to promote themselves or something. Their interview started with Michael this and Michael that, and the punch line is the promotion of themselves.

One of the first to be interviewed was Mickey Rooney. His on-air time was spent promoting and praising SONY. I was thinking...WTH?

It's moments like that when I find myself nervous about seeing the movie. If the organizers can be so shabby with a premier then where else will we see loose strings and unfinished work.

yes but Mickey is very old now, like I wrote in another post, he see things like they where in the past. I'm pretty sure he didn't realised the link Sony/Michael.....

When I went to the theater about 2 weeks ago to buy my tickets I was almost afraid that they would tell me there were no tickets for the premiere night but the guy told me that they had plenty. IDK

Even if I could watch it online, I am a very big movie fan and there is NOTHING like watching a movie on the big screen with the theater sound.

We plan on getting to the theater early so we can get the best seats. Is anyone else going to see it tonight?
