A new hoax idea??

Was browsing on the internet looking for clues and came upon a site which made me think, it said that to stage a perfect hoax death (apart from the "don't cancel your milk and papers" lol) then it is a good idea to plan for something in the future that people will believe you meant and wanted to do. Instead of us all thinking that Michael was worried and annoyed at having to try and do 50 concerts it may of been part of the plot, even the fact that he was going to do concerts may have been part of the plot. Maybe is more believable if we were to think that he wanted to do the concerts and he objected to them increasing the number would stress him and for us to think he wanted his kids to see him and for us to think he was overworked and not looking very healthy. It is more believable to do a hoax as article states if you plan something for the future. I think is quite possiby the start of the hoax.

Absolutely agree with this - everything seems to point in this direction:

conflicting rumours about the number of shows
was the O2 guy MJ or not
Is it all him in TII or were there stand-ins
Why is he wearing so many layers of clothes at the rehearsal
the chef saying he was eating well/KO saying he wasnt
etc etc etc

I believe all this was carefully orchestrated to deliberately create confusion to keep us all guessing

I completely agree...that has always been my belief. Do you think the rehearsals were always supposed to be a film?

Just imagine if Michael had not announced those concerts and did not plan any comeback at all in the future then there would be great speculation I should imagine amongst the media etc that he was in fact dead or was it a hoax as he was a "hasbeen" who was finished as far as his career was concerned. Dont forget he hadn't done anything for years and many thought as a performer his career was over. He proved them wrong as his concerts were a sellout and he surely had faith that his fans would not let him down and they didn't. The media and tabloids now think his is dead and I should imagine he would have known how they would react. Surely is better to fool the world thinking you are dead when you actually planned something for the future?

I took it to mean that to make the hoax believable he needed it to look like he was excited about the future...meaning looking forward to the concerts. But he also had to create doubt that he could succeed, and that's where objecting to the 50 concerts comes in. Maybe I'm wrong. Laughing

I get all this Harley and i've thought about it many times as many people have but my point is what is the outcome? I believe he will comeback but are you basing your theory on him not coming back?

I really do think the footage was meant to be a movie and the concerts were never going to happen. There is something about all the dancers that made me think they were actors so I wasnt a bit surprised to see on here yesterday that the girl from The Way You Make Me Feel bit is an actress in 90210! They all seemed very smiley performing Will You Be There at the memorial and the other day on Ellen they were so excited about the movie coming out, understandably for a lot of them it was their big break etc but come on - we are supposed to think that in the middle of it all MJ died! My friend who came to see the movie with me doesnt get the hoax thing at all but she was even blown away and totally agreed that they are actors and it was made to be a movie. It really got her thinking. Im sure others will think differently, these are just my gut feelings about it.

Yes, I could be wrong but I honestly do not see him returning in the future, well not as he was. It is possible he may change his appearance and identity and work behind the scenes but I really cannot see this happening as is a very competative field and many would give MJ a chance but who would give an unknown the credit etc without him revealing the genius he had as MJ?

Also people keep stating it is not illegal to hoax a death but no matter if he legally changed his name to Joe, Joeseph or any other and the DC isn't signed etc but if anyone, their family, estate or companies gain profit from a hoax death then it is a criminal offence and illegal and as we know sales have rocketed since his departure as did the funds of Elvis and continue to do so.

Some say he was in danger and that is why he hoaxed the death so when will he not be in danger? will the danger ever be gone? Dont you think the ones he is in danger from and their associates (of these there will be many) will be even more angry knowing MJ has fooled them by hoaxing his death. He would have made them a laughing stock in their seedy world of crime and embezzlement and financial gain from the fear of their power, dont think they will take too kindly to be made a laughing stock do you?

Also last but not least do you honestly think if he came back the world would forgive him? We would but we stood by him in his court case but the majority of the world were prepared to believe the utter crap and lies the media and tabloids printed. If he came back they would rip him to shreds, you think they were unkind then? Can you imagine the backlash? Wacko Jacko backo and much much worse. How would he explain to his millions of child fans, he loved children. How would their parents explain? oh yes we thought he was dead but now he is back! every child who has lost a parent or close member of family will be eagerly awaiting their return. If he were to return the hatred he felt before would have seemed like a rehearsal. Do you think he would have his family stage a memorial, funeral and lie to the world if he planned to return?

No, I am sorry but there are so many reasons why he would not return, apart from the fact that he was in his 51st year and some retire at not much older and MJ had given 45 years and sacrificed a normal life. Maybe he just wanted some peace in the latter half of his life. I feel sorry that some of you are eagerly awaiting his return but realistically I think it will not happen, I have thought that for 4 months and feel it even more strongly now.

I think judging from TII, we can see that there was something deeper here at work than just "rehearsal footage". Theres no way this was rehearsal footage. It was soooooo planned!
